FORMER ICE-SKATER TAKES A SPIN AT LOVE AFTER LANDING HER DREAM JOB CELESTE DESJARDINS AND MARCUS ROSNER STAR IN "AN ICE PALACE ROMANCE" AN ALL-NEW HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL PREMIERE JULY 27

STUDIO CITY, CA - June 18, 2024 - What starts out as a major assignment for a TV news reporter turns into a journey of reflection and self-discovery when Celeste Desjardins (Taken, Fashionably in Love) and Marcus Rosner (Arrow, Romance to the Rescue) star in An Ice Palace Romance, an all-new Hallmark Channel original premiere Saturday, July 27th at (8 p.m. ET/PT) apart of our beloved Christmas in July programming event.

Former dancer and ice-skater turned television news reporter, Lori Marshal (Desjardins), believes her holiday wish of landing a managerial position in a new division at work could soon be a reality. To land the dream job, she must cover the closing of the Ice Palace, a historic skating rink and training center in her hometown of Greenhill, Michigan. Despite having bad memories of the establishment, Lori reluctantly accepts the assignment and heads home to hopefully secure the promotion. En route she encounters Mark Johnson (Rosner) and his daughter Zoe (Acacia Hanvelt, Three Pines), an aspiring skater. Unbeknownst to her, Mark owns the Ice Palace which, without major renovations, will be condemned. The more Lori explores her story, the more she realizes the importance of the Palace to the small-town community, how much it means to Mark to keep it in his family and her passion for ice skating is reignited. But when she's forced to take on a more personal angle in her story by delving more into Mark's heart, she finds herself torn - could the finished version of her story turn out to be the final chapter of the Ice Palace and end any budding romance?

An Ice Palace Romance is from Muse Entertainment Productions. Oneida Crawford, Jessie Prupas, Aren Prupas and Jonas Prupas are executive producers. The movie is produced by Shane Boucher and Brooklin Watson. Shawna Steele directed from a script by Andrew Daley.
