TNT Sports Announces Unrivaled Studio Commentators Featuring Candace Parker, Renee Montgomery & Lauren Jbara

TNT Sports and Unrivaled Set Roster of Studio & Game Commentators for Inaugural Season

TNT Sports and Unrivaled today announced its roster of basketball analysts, reporters, and personalities that will anchor studio and game coverage for the inaugural season of the 3-on-3 women's basketball league, tipping off Friday, Jan. 17, across TNT, truTV and Max.

TNT Sports' studio coverage will center on three-time WNBA Champion and two-time league MVP Candace Parker, former WNBA All-Star Renee Montgomery and host Lauren Jbara - with special appearances by four-time Olympic gold medalist and WNBA legend Lisa Leslie - as they share pregame insights and analysis as well as postgame highlights throughout the season from TNT studios in Atlanta.

Play-by-play announcer Brendan Glasheen and analysts Lisa Leslie and Sarah Kustok will provide game commentary throughout Unrivaled's inaugural season, joined by a rotation of veteran reporters including Taylor Rooks, Allie LaForce, Stephanie Ready, and Ros Gold-Onwude. Live game coverage will originate from Unrivaled's facilities in Miami.

"The additions of Candace, Renee, Lauren, and Leslie will jumpstart our exciting coverage with some of the best and biggest talent in the sport" said Craig Barry, Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer, TNT Sports. "Their transcendent knowledge of the game and scope of experience are going to bring this new league to life in important and unexpected ways."

"We're thrilled to tip off our inaugural season with such legendary talent across all levels of the women's basketball space," said Micky Lawler, Unrivaled's Commissioner. "Their voices will bring much-needed analysis and perspective to the revolutionary version of basketball Unrivaled and TNT are bringing to fans this year."

Opening night will feature Napheesa Collier and the Lunar Owls Basketball Club facing Breanna Stewart and the Mist Basketball Club at 7 p.m. ET, followed by Angel Reese and the Rose Basketball Club taking on Reese's former head coach Teresa Weatherspoon, Arike Ogunbowale and the Vinyl Basketball Club at 8 p.m. ET, with both games set to be televised live on TNT, truTV and streamed on Max.

Announced in October 2024, TNT Sports and Unrivaled announced a multi-year media partnership to exclusively present live game coverage on TNT and truTV - along with all games being streamed on Max - beginning with the league's inaugural season. The agreement features more than 45 primetime regular season matchups three nights a week across TNT Sports platforms, with twice-weekly games on TNT as the lead network on Mondays and Fridays and additional broadcasts on truTV on Saturdays. As part of the media rights partnership, TNT Sports has agreed to invest an undisclosed amount in Unrivaled.

Co-founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, Unrivaled features 36 of the top women's basketball players across six clubs for a compressed, full court style of play, delivering the most entertaining and competitive form of the sport for fans.
