DAILY SHOW, THE (Comedy Central) - Dulcé Sloan is departing the Emmy-winning series after seven years. "There is work that I've done over the past seven years with The Daily Show that I couldn't be prouder of," Sloan told the publication. "I collaborated with some incredibly talented people who I look forward to continuing to work with. I know our paths will continue to cross. I am now free to pursue my dream job of being a live action Klingon on Star Trek." (Deadline.com, 1/17)
DEEP WATER SALVAGE (The Weather Channel) - Allen Media Group will offer the series in broadcast syndication beginning in Fall 2025. (Deadline.com, 1/14)
DTF ST. LOUIS (HBO) - Richard Jenkins has boarded the limited series as "a police detective who is investigating the death." (Deadline.com, 1/15)
ELSBETH (CBS) - Tracey Ullman and Jordana Brewster are both bound for the series. Ullman will portray Marilyn, "a professional psychic with elite Manhattan clients who won't make a move without consulting her first. When the stepson of one of her wealthy clients is murdered, Elsbeth must match wits with a woman whose supernatural gifts usually keep her one step ahead." And Brewster will play Chloe, "a beautiful, elegant "lifestyle consultant," usually found on the arms of the high rollers on billionaire's row. Of course, one man's "lifestyle consultant" is another man's high-price escort. Chloe will do anything for her clients, even murder." (Deadline.com, 1/17)
EXTRAORDINARY/SHARDLAKE (Hulu) - The Disney+ U.K. originals will not return for a third and second season, respectively. (Variety.com, 1/17)

FRASIER (REBOOT SERIES) (Paramount+) - The streaming service has canceled the series after two seasons. Producer CBS Studios plans to shop the project elsewhere with Prime Video and Hulu among the targets. (Deadline.com, 1/17)
SILO (Apple TV+) - Ashley Zukerman and Jessica Henwick, who both made surprise appearances in the show's season finale, will return as regulars in its third season. Zukerman continues as Daniel, "a young and hungry congressman"; with Henwick as Helen, "a whip-smart reporter." (Deadline.com, 1/17)
TEACUP (Peacock) - The streamer has canceled the horror series after one season. (Variety.com, 1/17)
UNTITLED DAVID LYNCH PROJECT (Netflix, New!) - Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos revealed the streamer was aiming to make a new limited series with the late filmmaker: "David and I only spoke on a few occasions after that but years later, he came into Netflix to pitch a limited series which we jumped at. It was a David Lynch production, so filled with mystery and risks but we wanted to go on this creative ride with this genius. First Covid, then some health uncertainties lead to this project never being produced but we made it clear that as soon as he was able, we were all in." (@tedsarandos, 1/17)
UNTITLED EQUALIZER SPIN-OFF PROJECT (CBS) - Titus Welliver and Juani Feliz have scored the lead roles on the proposed spin-off series: "Welliver will play Hudson Reed, a former top CIA operative with a dark secret who is connected to Robin McCall (Queen Latifah) by an old mentor. Feliz plays Samantha Reed who has been trained by her father to be a weapons expert, skilled martial artist and true chameleon all while hiding a mysterious past." They'll both appear in the show's 16th episode this season with options to become regulars should the project move forward to series. (Deadline.com, 1/17)
UNTITLED JARED PADALECKI PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Jared Padalecki is attached to star in a proposed drama at the Eye from Anna Fricke: "It centers on a headstrong, devoted country doctor (Padalecki) who practices his unique style of improvisational medicine alongside his new protégé, a young doctor running from her past, as they operate a mobile clinic and heal the bodies and souls of their underserved community in the medical desert of rural Texas." Laura Terry and Dan Spilo will executive produce alongside Padalecki and Fricke for Pursued by a Bear and CBS Studios. (Deadline.com, 1/14)
UNTITLED JESSE ARMSTRONG PROJECT (HBO, New!) - "Succession" creator Jesse Armstrong is back in business with the pay channel with a new film "said to revolve around four friends who meet up during the turmoil of an ongoing international financial crisis." Frank Rich is also executive producing. (Deadline.com, 1/13)
UNTITLED NEIGHBORHOOD SPIN-OFF PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Marcel Spears and Sheaun McKinney are being eyed to topline a new spin-off of the CBS comedy: "It follows Marty (Marcel Spears) and Malcolm (Sheaun McKinney) Butler as they embark on new adventures, finally leaving their parents' nest to start the next chapters of their lives, finding themselves the newcomers in a neighborhood that's both close by yet worlds apart: Venice Beach." The show's 20th episode this season will introduce the planted spinoff with three new characters appearing as guest stars with options to become regulars should it move forward. Bill Martin, Mike Schiff, Cedric the Entertainer, Aaron Kaplan, Wendi Trilling and Eric C. Rhone will executive produce for CBS Studios, A Bird and a Bear Entertainment, Kapital Entertainment and TrillTV. (Deadline.com, 1/17)
VISION QUEST (Disney+) - Faran Tahir will reprise his role of Raza, "leader of the terrorist organization the 10 Rings who tried to kill Tony Stark in Iron Man," in the Marvel Studios series. (Deadline.com, 1/14)
