(Albuquerque, NM) - Tuesday, January 28, 2025 - REELZ today announced the fourth season of hit live documentary series On Patrol: Live, produced by Half Moon Pictures, ordering 90 new episodes (270 hours) and extending the show's run through January 2026. Building on OPL's success, the network also ordered 90 one-hour episodes of spin-off and "OPL" lead-in On Patrol: First Shift, representing a full annual renewal of 360 hours of original OPL content. The news comes as On Patrol: Live closes out 2024 as TV's #1 entertainment program on Friday and Saturday nights1.
Hosted by Dan Abrams, On Patrol: Live follows live news-gathering protocols as 50+ cameras in regions across the country document for viewers in real time the nightly work of law enforcement officers on patrol.
Beginning Friday, January 31, On Patrol: Live expands its footprint when it begins riding live with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, following its officers as they patrol the neon city, one of America's most visited destinations. LVMPD rounds out the series' current roster of police departments and sheriff's offices, which also includes Berkeley County Sheriff's Office (SC); Clayton County Sheriff's Office (GA); Daytona Beach Police Department (FL); Hazen Police Department (AR); Humboldt County Sheriff's Office (CA); Knox County Sheriff's Office (TN); Monroe Police Department (LA); and Richland County Sheriff's Department (SC).
On Patrol: Live airs live every Friday and Saturday night from 9pm to 12am ET on REELZ. On Patrol: First Shift airs prior to each live episode at 8pm ET, providing updates and perspective on previous episodes.
Additionally, Captain Tom Rizzo, with the Howell Township Police Department in New Jersey, has joined the show as a full-time analyst. With more than 20 years in law enforcement, Rizzo will be inducted into the National Law Enforcement Officer Hall of Fame this April, earning its 2025 Founders Award, "given to an officer who goes above and beyond in the line of duty and off." He sits alongside Abrams, as well as Deputy Sheriff Curtis Wilson of the Richland County Sheriff's Department in Columbia, South Carolina, and Sgt. Sean "Sticks" Larkin, retired Tulsa Police Department lieutenant with more than 25 years of service, and a rotating panel of experts.
Together, the team offers insights and analysis as the show chronicles the work of officers live on the job on Friday and Saturday nights.

On Patrol: Live "Missing" Segments Help BAMFI and NCMEC Recover Children and Adults
In addition to chronicling the work of law enforcement in real time, On Patrol: Live features "Missing" segments that air in conjunction with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the Black and Missing Foundation (BAMFI). The show calls on the viewing public and OPL's very engaged and active social community, known as #OPNation, to reach out to NCMEC's and BAMFI's special hotlines, should they have any information related to the missing persons whose stories are highlighted on air. To date, On Patrol: Live has helped in the recovery of 35 missing people.
