HULU ORDERS NEW UNSCRIPTED SERIES "OVERBOARD FOR LOVE" (WORKING TITLE)

Produced by Alex Cooper's Unwell Productions and Jeff Jenkins Productions

Hulu announces new unscripted series "Overboard for Love" (wt) from Alex Cooper, creator, host and executive producer of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast. "Overboard for Love" (wt) is produced by Cooper's production company, Unwell Productions, Jeff Jenkins Productions in association with 3BMG, and Walt Disney Television Alternative.

LOGLINE: Get ready to hit the high seas with "Overboard for Love" (wt)! Presented by Alex Cooper, step aboard the ultimate luxury yacht, where sexy singles are ready to mix and mingle ... and find love. But there's a twist ... gaining access to the yacht's extravagant amenities won't be so simple. As the journey unfolds, romance ignites; alliances form; and hearts are shattered. In the end, only one couple will reign supreme. Who will rise to the top, and who will be left stranded?

CREDITS: Cooper will serve as executive producer alongside Matt Kaplan and Mina Lefevre at Unwell Productions; Jeff Jenkins, Russell Jay-Staglik and Jason Ehrlich at Jeff Jenkins Productions; and Ross Weintraub and Reinout Oerlemans at 3BMG.

"I couldn't be more excited that Unwell Productions' first unscripted series, Overboard for Love, is coming to life with our amazing partner, Hulu," said Alex Cooper. "This project marks a major milestone for us, perfectly reflecting our vision of creating bold, unfiltered content that pushes boundaries. We've designed a truly unique dating show, and I can't wait for viewers to see what Unwell is capable of."

"I'm incredibly excited to be collaborating with Alex and the team at Unwell Productions on their first television project," said Rob Mills, executive vice president, Unscripted and Alternative Entertainment, Walt Disney Television. "Alex is a trailblazer who is undoubtedly shaping the future of entertainment, and this is only the beginning of an exciting journey as we welcome her to the family."

This marks the streamer's first television project with Unwell Productions and second project with JJP, who is also behind "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," which debuted in 2024 as Hulu's most-watched unscripted season premiere, based on its first three days of streaming. Season two of "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" premieres May 15 on Hulu.

The project joins Hulu's original unscripted series slate, including "The Kardashians," "Vanderpump Villa," "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" and new series "Got to Get Out."
