JESSICA BIEL EXECUTIVE PRODUCES AND NARRATES NEW TRUE CRIME SERIES PROFILING STORIES WHEN PARADISE BECOMES PERILOUS IN ID'S "FATAL DESTINATION"

(New York, NY) - Golden Globe and Emmy Award-nominated actress Jessica Biel serves as narrator and executive producer for ID's upcoming series exploring the dark side of paradise with FATAL DESTINATION. Idyllic getaways unravel into haunting mysteries exposing the sinister secrets lurking beneath sunlit shores, mountain retreats, and bustling boardwalks in the new six-part series. Each story unfolds through first-person accounts of friends, family, locals, journalists, and law enforcement who unpack the chilling tales of deception, violence, and tragedy in exotic locales where being a tourist is anything but a vacation. Narrated and executive produced by Jessica Biel, produced by her production company Iron Ocean and Propagate Content, FATAL DESTINATION premieres on Tuesday, June 3 at 10/9c on ID. Episodes will be available to stream on Max.

"Jessica Biel is a true powerhouse, both on and off the screen," said Jason Sarlanis, President of Investigation Discovery. "Having captivated audiences with her portrayals of characters inspired by true crime, Jessica's deep commitment to storytelling and her compelling narration now bring these real-life mysteries to life. At ID, we're always looking for bold new ways to tell stories that captivate and resonate with our audience, and with Jessica at the helm, FATAL DESTINATION offers an unforgettable exploration into the dark side of paradise."

"I have always been fascinated by the complexities behind true crime - what drives a person to commit such a heinous act, the dogged investigators that work diligently to solve the cases, and of course, the devastating impact on the loved ones left behind," said executive producer Jessica Biel. "While I have performed in several scripted crime series, FATAL DESTINATION marks my first foray into executive producing unscripted true crime content, so partnering with ID, the leader in the genre, has been a dream come true in the process of exposing real-life nightmares."

From a couple's romantic trip to Vermont ending in a camper turned crime scene to a spring breaker's disappearance sparking a decade-long search or a luxury boat mysteriously adrift with no crew, each episode of FATAL DESTINATION plunges into the sinister side of leisure and reveals how dreams of escape can have dire consequences. In the premiere episode, a lavish getaway to Mexico becomes the setting for a haunting crime when Jake Merendino is found brutally murdered. Drawn to Rosarito, Mexico with dreams of a coastal retreat, he enters a world of opulence and hidden motives. What begins as a celebration of luxury unravels into a chilling tale of manipulation, dark secrets, and shattered trust. A mysterious handwritten note and damning evidence point to the tangled web of relationships surrounding him, as investigators piece together the shocking truth behind his final day. "Baja Noir" premieres on Tuesday, June 3 at 10/9c on ID.
