"SONGS & STORIES WITH KELLY CLARKSON" ARRIVES IN LATE SUMMER ON NBC

Four Episodes of Heartfelt Conversations That Examine the Artists and Their Music Will Air Aug. 19, Aug. 26, Sept. 2 and Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT

Conversations to Feature Gloria Estefan, Jonas Brothers, Lizzo and Teddy Swims

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - May 14, 2025 - In a unique programming event that will showcase and take an introspective look at an array of incredibly talented musical artists, the four-episode specials "Songs & Stories with Kelly Clarkson" will air on NBC later this summer.

Episodes will air next day on Peacock.

The hourlong telecasts, which are set for Aug. 19, Aug. 26, Sept. 2 and Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, will feature Gloria Estefan, Jonas Brothers, Lizzo and Teddy Swims. The conversations are a front-row pass for Kelly Clarkson to engage with some of her favorite celebrities and examine both their music and personal lives. The specials are a forum where iconic voices meet heartfelt storytelling through unfiltered conversation and sung in an intimate, unplugged setting.

"Songs & Stories" originated as special episodes for "The Kelly Clarkson Show," the nationally syndicated and Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk series that airs across many NBC stations.

Guided by the songs that shaped their path, "Songs & Stories" episodes that aired on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" have featured R&B icon Babyface, who examined his catalog of love songs that defined a generation. Miranda Lambert and Clarkson surprised audiences with an impromptu show-stopping rendition of Chappell Roan's "Good Luck, Babe!" that exploded on TikTok.

Clarkson chatted with Alanis Morissette, who confessed why she didn't originally want her hit single "Ironic" on her iconic album "Jagged Little Pill," and the pair harmonized an acoustic rendition of the hit 1996 single. When Clarkson welcomed P!NK to the "Songs & Stories" stage, P!NK teased her not-yet-released "Trustfall" and together they delivered an unforgettable moment with an honest and emotional conversation about P!NK's "What About Us," followed by a duet rendition of the song.

Since its launch in 2019, "The Kelly Clarkson Show" has collected television's most prestigious awards. The show has won 22 Daytime Emmys, including multiple wins for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series and Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host; two People's Choice Awards for Best Talk Show of the Year; and accolades from the Alliance for Women in Media's Gracie Awards, winning the Talk Show Entertainment category three times.

For the 2024-25 season, "The Kelly Clarkson Show" averages 1.2 million viewers per day and consistently ranks as one of the top syndicated talk shows.

"Songs & Stories with Kelly Clarkson" is produced by Universal Television. Alex Duda, Kareen Gunning and Kelly Clarkson are executive producers.
