News from AMC Networks' San Diego Comic-Con Málaga Panels
Today, AMC Networks took the stage at the inaugural San Diego Comic-Con Málaga in Hall M at FYCMA in Málaga, Spain with exciting panels for the debut season of Anne Rice's Talamasca and the current season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon both moderated by Spanish radio and television personality Tony Aguilar.
The panel for Anne Rice's Talamasca featured Academy Award(R)-nominated Executive Producer and Showrunner John Lee Hancock and series star Nicholas Denton ("Guy Anatole") as well as an exclusive reveal of a first-look behind the scenes video and the debut of a clip from the series premiere featuring Denton and guest star Eric Bogosian who reprises his role of Daniel Molloy from Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire. Anne Rice's Talamasca will premiere with two episodes on Sunday, October 26 at 9pm ET/PT on AMC and AMC+ in the U.S. with subsequent episodes of the six-episode first season airing Sundays.
Aguilar then kicked off a discussion for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon with panelists Executive Producer and Showrunner David Zabel, Executive Producer and Director Dan Percival, Executive Producer and Star Norman Reedus ("Daryl,") Executive Producer and Star Melissa McBride ("Carol,") and additional cast members Hugo Arbués ("Roberto,") Candela Saitta "(Justina,") Eduardo Noriega ("Antonio,") Óscar Jaenada ("Fede)" and Alexandra Masangkay ("Paz,") where they discussed the current third season of the series, which was filmed and takes place in Spain. An exclusive clip from the upcoming fourth episode of the seven-episode season was also shown. The current season premiered on Sunday, September 7 on AMC and AMC+ in the U.S. with subsequent episodes available on Sundays.
Produced by AMC Studios, Anne Rice's Talamasca focuses on a secretive society called the Talamasca, comprised of the men and women responsible for tracking and containing the witches, vampires, and other creatures scattered around the globe. The show is executive produced by Academy Award(R)-nominated Hancock (The Blind Side) and Mark Lafferty (The Right Stuff, Halt and Catch Fire), who also serve as co-showrunners, award-winning producer Mark Johnson and Tom Williams along with Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice. Hancock also directs.
Season three of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon tracks Daryl (Reedus) and Carol (McBride) as they continue their journey towards home and the ones they love. As they struggle to find their way back, the path takes them farther astray, leading them through distant lands with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions as they witness the various effects of the Walker apocalypse.
