The King speaks of his 'determination' to help save the planet in Finding Harmony

New landmark documentary on His Majesty King Charles III's Harmony philosophy from Prime Video and The King's Foundation to release in early 2026

The film will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide

Prime Video and The King's Foundation today announce the upcoming release of a new landmark documentary. Finding Harmony: A King's Vision (working title) chronicles His Majesty The King's lifelong commitment to the philosophy of Harmony and the environment as a whole.

The announcement comes as The King tells of his 'fondest hope' that the film will inspire amongst others the same 'sense of determination' that he feels to protect our planet and create a more sustainable future for the next generation. Finding Harmony: A King's Vision (w/t) will launch exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide in early 2026.

The King's philosophy of Harmony encourages us to see ourselves as part of nature, not apart from nature. His Majesty believes looking at the world in this way and understanding that nature is at the core of human wellbeing and prosperity will highlight the urgent need to take practical action to protect and restore the climate and planet, and ultimately build a sustainable future. This philosophy is brought to life through a deeply personal mission undertaken by The King's Foundation, a charity founded in 1990 by His Majesty as Prince of Wales which celebrates its 35th anniversary this year.

Finding Harmony: A King's Vision (w/t) will explore the origins, evolution and scientific foundations of The King's "Harmony" philosophy. Headquartered at Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Scotland, His Majesty and The King's Foundation have transformed this estate into a living demonstration of these principles.

Using a mix of stunning cinematography, unique interviews and fascinating storytelling, the film will document how this vision has sparked a global movement, with examples including food production, urbanism, community regeneration, sustainable textiles, and traditional skills - inspiring similar projects worldwide. It also features The King's own reflections on his lifelong commitment to promoting a sustainable world, as he views special archive footage from across the decades.

On the announcement of the film, His Majesty King Charles III said:

"Nature is our sustainer - we are a part of Nature. Therefore, what we do to her, we do to ourselves. For much of my life I have sought to promote and encourage ways we can work with, rather than against Nature. In other words, to restore balance to our planet which is under such stress.

"This film will, I hope, demonstrate just some of the remarkable work being done around the world to put Harmony into practice, from the forests of Guyana to sustainable communities in India - and, closer to home, through the work of my King's Foundation at Dumfries House and Highgrove.

"Never has it been more important for the world to make a concerted effort to protect and prioritise our planet, and to restore our relationship with it.

"It is therefore my fondest hope that this film may encourage a new audience to learn about the philosophy of Harmony - and perhaps inspire the same sense of determination it has given me to help build a more sustainable future."

Kristina Murrin, Chief Executive of The King's Foundation, said:

"At The King's Foundation we are proud to have stood beside The King for the past 35 years of his Harmony journey, and it is both moving and inspiring to see that journey committed to film.

"Our work spans many of The King's passions, whether that be protecting traditional skills, teaching young people about nature and the outdoors, or building green towns and cities with sustainability at their core. It is gratifying to see this work represented on screen in Finding Harmony.

"We hope the ethos of our headquarters Dumfries House will be a catalyst for community regeneration that will inspire more action across the globe."

Courtenay Valenti, Head of Film for Amazon MGM Studios, said:

"We are deeply honoured to bring His Majesty's pioneering environmental philosophy to Prime Video audiences worldwide through this landmark documentary.

"Finding Harmony represents the culmination of The King's lifelong dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship. We believe this collaboration, championed by Amazon MGM Studios Head of Documentary Features Brianna Oh, will not only showcase The King's remarkable vision but also inspire viewers across the globe to consider their own relationship with the natural world."

Nicolas Brown, Director of Finding Harmony: A King's Vision, added:

"Working on this film we became aware of how important this story is. Remarkably few people around the world know the full depth of The King's lifelong battle to bring nature and humanity into harmony. Even today, His Majesty's work with The King's Foundation is transforming the world in so many inspiring ways.

"This is a story of hope and resilience. People who watch this film will leave feeling uplifted and motivated. The King's philosophy offers something for everyone. Mostly, he shows us the power of resilience - and how following your intuition can transform the world."

Finding Harmony: A King's Vision (w/t) is produced by Passion Planet in collaboration with The King's Foundation for Amazon MGM Studios. It will launch exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide in early 2026.

The Philosophy of Harmony

The King's Foundation is responsible for promoting and protecting The King's philosophy of Harmony, which also forms the basis of the charity's educational curriculum. Harmony is The King's philosophy which encourages people to see themselves as part of nature, not apart from nature. It focuses on the interconnectedness of all life and the importance of living in balance with nature. Key to the philosophy are learning from traditional wisdom, encouraging ecological awareness and respecting the natural world. His Majesty's book, 'Harmony: A New Way of Looking at the World', coauthored with Tony Juniper and Ian Skelly, was published in 2010.
