Week of November 2, 2025

Sunday, November 2

· "In the Eye of the Storm" New Season Debuts on Discovery Channel - 10pm ET/PT

· From real-time footage to raw, firsthand accounts, each episode captures the chaos, courage and resilience of those who faced the fury head-on. This season kicks off with a harrowing account of freak weather in March 2025, when extreme atmospheric volatility unleashed a massive Texas haboob and more than 200 tornadoes across the southern states. Thousands of eyewitnesses captured disaster at their doorsteps as the storms devastated towns and homesteads, leaving a trail of destruction across multiple states, causing billions in damage and claiming at least 42 lives. The season continues with powerful stories from across the country including the local residents in Los Angeles and Pacific Palisades who became unexpected heroes as overwhelming wildfires engulfed entire neighborhoods in early 2025.

· "The Last Captains" New Series Debut on Discovery Channel - 11pm ET/PT

· Sitting exposed in the middle of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, the Magdalen Islands are home to one of the toughest, most resilient fishing communities left on the planet. Battling busted gear, mounting debt, vanishing quotas and the constant threat of sudden storms, brave sea captains risk everything to haul in the ocean's last great prizes.

Wednesday, November 5

· "Expedition Unknown" New Season Debuts on Discovery Channel - 9pm ET/PT

· Throughout the extraordinary new season, Gates leads viewers on high-stakes and off-the-map investigations. He teams up with Gold Rush's Parker Schnabel to chase a multi-million dollar treasure from an infamous stagecoach heist, scours the Oregon coast on a real-life Goonies quest on the 40th anniversary of the iconic film, plunges into the icy Baltic Sea searching for a lost Nazi submarine and braves crocodile-infested waters in Nicaragua to hunt down Cornelius Vanderbilt's lost steamship. The season kicks off with a groundbreaking two-part adventure inside Egypt's Great Pyramid. With exclusive access to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, Gates unravels long-held conspiracy theories about how this marvel of engineering was truly built.

· "Expedition Files" New Season Debuts on Discovery Channel - 10pm ET/PT

· The adventure continues as Josh Gates embarks on a time-travelling quest, taking us into the past to solve history's most enduring mysteries. Gates reveals fresh evidence and striking, new revelations that could rewrite history as we know it. In the season premiere, Gates examines an explosive new theory about the fate of vanished Teamsters leader Jimmy Hoffa. He also reveals the extraordinary artifact that may finally end the age-old hunt for the Holy Grail and sets sail to unravel a maritime mystery - the disappearance of German inventor Rudolf Diesel, the man whose engines changed the world.

Friday, November 7

· "Gold Rush" New Season Debuts on Discovery Channel - 8pm ET/PT

· With gold prices skyrocketing to an unprecedented $3,800 an ounce, the stakes are at an all-time high when Discovery's hit series "Gold Rush" returns with an all-new season. With only a few short months to mine, top bosses and rising underdogs collide in a race to claim new ground, move more dirt, and strike it rich. Channeling the spirit of America's original gold rush, this season is a cutthroat scramble where loyalties are tested, tensions run high, and fortunes hang in the balance. By the end of the season, the combined total for all miners will reach nearly $100 million, marking the biggest pay day in "Gold Rush" history.

Week of November 9, 2025

Friday, November 14

· "The Last Woodsmen" New Season Debuts on Discovery Channel - 9pm ET/PT

· Risking life and limb to harvest the most prized and massive timber on Earth, Jared and his crew work at the edge of civilization, armed with only old-school axes, chainsaws, and pure grit. Despite the big paydays and breathtaking surroundings, logging remains one of the most dangerous professions known to man where one wrong move could mean paying the ultimate price. This season, the stakes have never been higher. Jared gambles his company, striking a risky agreement with a ruthless businessman on what could be the deal of a lifetime. But with new and unforgiving terrain, fierce competition, and challenging equipment setbacks, Jared faces a relentless battle to secure his place as the king of the woods.
