Prime Video's "We Were Liars" Casts Six New Series Regulars for Season Two

Season Two of the series adaptation of E. Lockhart's novel We Were Liars casts Josh Dallas, Costa D'Angelo, Parker Lapaine, Peyton List, Elysia Roorbach and Madison Wolfe

Josh Dallas for "Young Harris"

Bio: Josh Dallas can recently be seen starring as the lead 'Ben Stone' in the hit series MANIFEST. Variety called the show "the undisputed breakout of the 2019 season", when it aired on NBC before moving to Netflix where it ended its 4-season run. Previously, Josh starred in ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME as 'Prince Charming' across 7 seasons. Additional credits include NBC's THE HUNTING PARTY, as well as feature credits in Anthony Hemingway's RED TAILS, Marvel's THOR as 'Fandral', and the Disney animated hits ZOOTOPIA and ZOOTOPIA 2.

Costa D'Angelo for "Pfeff"

Bio: With training from one of Australia's leading arts institutions, Costa D'Angelo has quickly emerged as a rising talent to watch, building momentum across both domestic and international screen projects.He recently delivered a breakout performance in Hulu's hit drama Tell Me Lies, portraying a complex psychology graduate student who moonlights as a drug dealer and shares a tangled past with one of the central characters. His character becomes romantically involved with Lucy (Grace Van Patten), adding further tension to the series' layered relationships.

Costa is currently filming a Netflix hockey series alongside Michelle Monaghan, with Shawn Levy producing and Trey Edwards directing. He also appears in Zoe Kazan's highly anticipated adaptation of East of Eden, also for Netflix, premiering this fall.

He first gained recognition with a role on the long-running Australian series Neighbours, before expanding his presence with appearances in Crazy Fun Park (ABC) and feature projects including The Deb (2024) and Shiver (2026).

Peyton List for "Young Tipper"

Bio: Peyton List's most recent roles include recurring parts on STAR TREK: PICARD and ABC's THE ROOKIE. She has also previously recurred on CW's CHARMED, as well as FOX's GOTHAM in the role of "Poison Ivy" and USA's COLONY, which both wanted to make her a series regular. She can now be seen appearing in the recently released independent film, SPINNING GOLD, directed by Tim Bogart.

Other TV credits include lead series regular roles on the CW's FREQUENCY and THE TOMORROW PEOPLE, as well as ABC's FLASH FORWARD and BIG SHOTS. She has also recurred on CW's hit show THE FLASH as 'Lisa Snart aka the Golden Glider', ABC's BLOOD & OIL, and five seasons of AMC's critically acclaimed show MAD MEN as 'Jane Sterling'. Peyton has appeared on the CW's 90210 and Showtime's HOUSE OF LIES, amongst many others.

Elysia Roorbach for 'Young Penny'

Bio: Elysia Roorbach holds a BFA in Drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where she studied at Atlantic Acting Company, Stonestreet Studios, and spent a term in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Immediately upon graduating, she starred in the world premiere of Las Aventuras de Juan Planchard, a co-production between Tectonic Theater Company and Miami New Drama, directed by Tony Award nominee and Presidential Medal of Arts recipient Moisés Kaufman. Her passion for theater continued as she went on to star in as 'Honey' in the South Coast Repertory production of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf.

She has starred in over a dozen short films, many with successful festival runs. She can be seen recurring in season 2 of HBO Max's Emmy Award winning series The Pitt.

Wolfe is also known for her role on HBO's hit series True Detective, where she played the daughter of Woody Harrelson, as well as for The Campaign opposite Will Ferrell.

She previously appeared in The Conjuring 2, directed by James Wan, and starred in the feature film I Kill Giants opposite Zoe Saldaña.
