Prime Video Orders "Escorted" to Series
Brett Goldstein to Star, Write, and Executive Produce New Romantic Comedy from Warner Bros. Television
NEW YORK, NY - May 11, 2026 - Today, ahead of Amazon's upfront presentation, Prime Video announced it has ordered Escorted to series from Warner Bros. Television. The eight-episode, half-hour single-camera comedy stars and is executive produced, written, and co-showrun by Emmy Award winner Brett Goldstein (Shrinking, Ted Lasso) via his overall deal with Warner Bros. Television, alongside fellow executive producer and co-showrunner Brian Gallivan (Shrinking, Happy Endings). The series will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
In Escorted, a divorced dad in Manhattan accidentally becomes a male escort in this romantic comedy about sexual dynamic, keeping secrets, and whether real intimacy can ever be bought.
"I'm so excited to bring a wholesome show about condoms, co-parenting, and cosplay to Amazon - the place where I actually buy my condoms, so it feels like a real full circle moment," said Goldstein.
"Brett shines in every project he's a part of, whether he is behind the camera or on the screen," said Channing Dungey, Chairman and CEO, Warner Bros. Television Group and WBD US Networks. "We're excited to see him reteam with the incredibly talented Brian Gallivan - a comedy force in his own right - on this exciting new series. Together, Brett and Brian deliver a hilarious, modern take on relationships, grounded in a heartfelt story about a single dad navigating love, parenting, and life. Special thanks to our partners at Prime Video for helping bring this series to life."
"What makes Escorted so compelling is that beneath all of the chaos, comedy, and secrecy is an unexpectedly tender story about people searching for connection," said Peter Friedlander. "Brett Goldstein and Brian Gallivan have crafted a series that feels daring, emotionally authentic, and entirely original, and we're thrilled to bring it to Prime Video audiences worldwide. We're grateful to Brett, Brian, and our fantastic partners at Warner Bros. Television for bringing this singular series to life."
Goldstein executive produces, writes, and co-showruns alongside Brian Gallivan (Shrinking, Happy Endings), who also serves as executive producer and co-showrunner. Cooper Wehde and Josh Senior (The Bear) executive produce alongside Molly Mandel. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television.
Goldstein is represented by WME, Mosaic, B-Sides, LARK, and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, Warren, Richman, Rush, Kaller, Gellman, Meigs & Fox.
Gallivan is represented by Entertainment 360.
