Wednesday�s No. 1 TV Show in Viewers and Young Adults, ABC�s �Lost� Beats its Closest Time Period Competition by 10.3 Million Viewers and 181% in Adults 18-49

ABC�s �Invasion� is No. 1 in the 10 O�clock Hour, Ahead of Established Dramas, CBS� �C.S.I.: NY� and NBC�s �Law & Order� Among Young Adults

For the third week in a row, ABC won Wednesday night in viewers (14.5 million), across the adult demos (AD18-34 � 4.7/14, AD18-49 � 5.8/15 and AD25-54 � 6.7/16) and among Teens 12-17 (3.2/12). The Network outdistanced second-place CBS during prime by 3.5 million viewers and by 76% in Adults 18-49 (CBS = 11.0 million viewers & 3.3/9).

�George Lopez� (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

The 1-hour fifth season opener for ABC�s �George Lopez� posted a dominant victory in its time period, beating its closest competition by 1.3 million viewers (9.6 million vs. 8.3 million � NBC�s �E-Ring�) and by 24% in Adults 18-49 (3.6/10 vs. 2.9/8 � Fox�s �So You Think You Can Dance� finale).

� In viewers and young adults, �George Lopez� marked its highest-rated season premiere in 3 years � best since its second season premiere on 10/2/02.

� �George Lopez� showed strong build throughout its premiere telecast, surging by 1.2 million viewers (9.0 million to 10.2 million) and by 21% in Adults 18-49 (3.3/10 to 4.0/11) from its first half-hour to its second half-hour.

�Lost� (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

ABC�s �Lost� towered over its time period competition, outpacing second-place CBS in the 9 o�clock hour by 10.3 million viewers (22.0 million vs. 11.7 million) and by 181% in Adults 18-49 (9.0/22 vs. 3.2/8).

� The sophomore ABC drama stood as the No. 1 TV show on Wednesday for the third consecutive week.

� Among Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, �Lost� produced the series� third-highest numbers ever.

�Invasion� (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

ABC�s �Invasion� ranked No. 1 in its time period in Adults 18-49 (4.7/12), ahead of established dramas CBS� �C.S.I.: NY� (4.5/12) and NBC�s �Law & Order� (3.9/10). The freshman ABC show also won the 10 o�clock hour among Adults 18-34 (4.1/12) and across the men demographics: M18-34 (3.7/12), M18-49 (4.1/11) and M25-54 (4.7/12).

� ABC�s �Invasion� ranked as the No. 2 TV program of the night in Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, trailing only �Lost.�

� On average, �Invasion� has improved ABC�s performance in the time period by 49% in Total Viewers (13.6 million vs. 9.1 million), by 45% in Adults 18-49 (5.5/14 vs. 3.8/10) and by 51% in Adults 25-54 (6.5/15 vs. 4.3/10) over the Net�s average with original regular programming last season.
