CBS placed first in viewers for the sixth consecutive week as CSI, WITHOUT A TRACE, CSI: MIAMI, THE UNIT and SURVIVOR: PANAMA -- EXILE ISLAND all placed in the top 10, according to live + Same Day Nielsen ratings for the week ending April 23, week 31 of the 2005-2006 television season.

For the week in viewers, CBS (11.85m) topped FOX (9.84m), ABC (7.88m) and NBC (7.10m). Season-to-date, CBS (12.60m) leads, followed by ABC (11.03m), FOX (9.80m) and NBC (9.78m).

For the week in households, CBS (7.8/13) was +28% ahead of FOX (6.1/10), +47% ahead of ABC (5.3/09) and +66% ahead of NBC (4.7/08). Season-to-date, CBS is first in households (8.2/13), outpacing ABC by +17% (7.0/11), NBC by +28% (6.4/10) and FOX by +37% (6.0/10).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in adults 25-54 (4.3/11 and -0.1 behind FOX) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and a strong third in adults 18-49 (3.8/10, -0.2 behind both FOX and ABC).

� CSI: MIAMI (R) won its time period in households (10.8/17), viewers (16.34m), adults 25-54 (6.5/15), adults 18-49 (5.1/13) and adults 18-34 (3.3/10).

� TWO AND A HALF MEN (R) won its time period in households (8.0/12), placed second in viewers (11.93m), adults 25-54 (4.6/10) and adults 18-49 (3.7/09).

� THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was second in households (7.7/11), viewers (11.38m) and adults 25-54 (4.7/10).

� NCIS was second in households (10.1/16), viewers (15.90m), adults 25-54 (5.1/13) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10). NCIS beat NBC and ABC combined in households (vs. 5.2/09, +94%), viewers (vs. 7.62m, +109%), adults 25-54 (vs. 3.1/08, +65%), adults 18-49 (vs. 2.6/07, +38%) and adults 18-34 (2.2/07 vs. 1.9/06, +16%).

� THE UNIT was second in households (9.6/15), viewers (15.62m), adults 25-54 (5.8/13) and adults 18-49 (4.4/11). THE UNIT built on its NCIS lead by +14% in adults 25-54 and +22% in adults 18-49. THE UNIT is the season's Number One new series and Top new drama in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

� CRIMINAL MINDS TUESDAY SPECIAL (R) (S) was first in households (7.2/12), viewers (11.17m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.3/09, with NBC). This is the third airing of this episode. Compared to the original airing (10/19/05), this broadcast retained 96% of the adults 25-54 ratings delivery, 85% of both households and adults 18-49 and 87% of viewers. Compared to the first rebroadcast (12/29/05), this broadcast improved the adults 25-54 (+10%) and adults 18-49 (+3%) performances and retained 95% of the household and 98% of viewer performances.

� THE AMAZING RACE 9 was second in households (5.5/09), viewers (8.75m), adults 25-54 (3.8/10) and adults 18-49 (3.1/09). This is THE AMAZING RACE 9's best Wednesday delivery in households and viewers, matches the best delivery in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

� CSI: NY was first in households (10.3/17), viewers (15.14m), adults 25-54 (6.0/15), adults 18-49 (4.7/13) and adults 18-34 (3.2/10) -- easily topping the return of "Invasion" and a "Law & Order" rebroadcast. This is CSI: NY's best delivery in households and viewers since 2/1/06 and best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 delivery since 3/29/06.

� SURVIVOR: PANAMA -- EXILE ISLAND was first in households (9.7/17), viewers (16.26m), adults 25-54 (6.9/20), adults 18-49 (5.5/18) and adults 18-34 (3.4/12). SURVIVOR: PANAMA -- EXILE ISLAND beat NBC, ABC and FOX combined in viewers (vs. 14.57m, +12%), adults 25-54 (vs. 6.2/18, +11%) and in a virtual tie among adults 18-49 (vs. 5.6/18).

� CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (R) was first in households (12.2/29), viewers (18.88m), adults 25-54 (7.3/18), adults 18-49 (5.5/15) and adults 18-34 (3.7/11).

� WITHOUT A TRACE was first in households (11.6/20), viewers (16.93m), adults 25-54 (6.6/17), adults 18-49 (5.0/14) and adults 18-34 (3.2/10).

� NUMB3RS was Friday's top program in households (8.0/14), viewers (12.09m), adults 25-54 (4.1/11) and adults 18-49 (2.9/09).

� CBS SUNDAY MOVIE Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation of "In From the Night" (7.1/11, 10.52m) posted the best households and viewer delivery for the CBS SUNDAY MOVIE since 1/29/06 (Hallmark Hall of Fame's "The Water is Wide").
