With More Than 19 Million Viewers, the Finale of "CSI: Miami" Tops The Combined Competition in Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Ties the Other Two Networks Combined in Adults 18-49
On the final Monday of the 2005-2006 season, the season finale of TWO AND A HALF MEN, television's top comedy, posted its best delivery in viewers and key demographics since March, according to Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for May 22.
TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (9.9/15), viewers (15.70m), second in adults 25-54 (6.3/14, -0.3 behind FOX) and adults 18-49 (5.2/13). This is TWO AND A HALF MEN's best delivery in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since 3/20/06.
The season finale of television's top new comedy THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was second in households (8.6/13, -0.2 behind FOX), viewers (13.28m), adults 25-54 (5.4/12) and adults 18-49 (4.5/10). This is THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE's best delivery in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 also since 3/20/06.
CSI: MIAMI wrapped up its fourth season easily winning its time period in households (12.4/19), viewers (19.41m), adults 25-54 (8.1/18), adults 18-49 (6.6/16) and adults 18-34 (4.7/12). CSI: MIAMI beat NBC and ABC combined (both with first run programming) in households (vs. 11.1/18, +12%), viewers (vs. 16.31m, +19%), adults 25-54 (vs. 7.6/17, +7%) and tied with the two networks combined in adults 18-49 (6.6/16).
For the night, CBS was first in households (9.0/14), viewers (13.96m), second in adults 25-54 (5.7/13) and adults 18-49 (4.7/12).

CSI: MIAMI was Monday's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.
