CBS Is First on Wednesday in Viewers and Key Demographics

The premiere of the ninth season of THE KING OF QUEENS won its 8:00 PM time period in viewers and key demographics as did a special episode at 8:30 PM, according to Nielsen preliminary Live Plus same-day ratings for Wednesday, Dec. 6.

THE KING OF QUEENS (P) was first in households (6.3/10), viewers (9.53m), adults 25-54 (3.9/10) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09).

At 8:30 PM, THE KING OF QUEENS SPECIAL (S) won its time period in households (6.7/11), viewers (10.19m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10).

At 9:00 PM, CRIMINAL MINDS (R) was first in households (9.2/14), viewers (14.14m), adults 25-54 (5.1/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.9/10, -0.1 behind NBC). This is CRIMINAL MIND's best delivery ever with a rebroadcast in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

Compared to this episode's original broadcast (5/3/06), CRIMINAL MINDS was up +14% in households (from 8.1/12), +13% in adults 25-54 (from 4.5/10), +11% in adults 18-49 (from 3.5/08), +24% in adults 18-34 (2.6/08 from 2.1/06) and added +1.95m viewers (from 12.19m, +16%).

At 10:00 PM, CSI: NY (R) was first in households (8.3/14), viewers (12.45m), adults 25-54 (4.5/12), adults 18-49 (3.8/11) and adults 18-34 (2.8/09).

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.0/13), viewers (12.15m), adults 25-54 (4.6/12) and adults 18-49 (3.7/10).

Final Wednesday ratings will be available this afternoon.
