The Season Finale of "Ncis" Is the Week's Number One Scripted Program, Delivering More Viewers Than the Finales of "Heroes," "24" and "Lost"

THE SEASON FINALE OF "NCIS" IS THE WEEK'S NUMBER ONE SCRIPTED PROGRAM, DELIVERING MORE VIEWERS THAN THE FINALES OF "HEROES," "24" AND "LOST"

"Jesse Stone: Sea Change" Places 9th in Viewers Against the Finale of "Dancing with the Stars"

In a week that included the finale three days of the 2006-2007 television season, the season finale of NCIS was the number one scripted program, delivering more viewers than the finales of "Heroes," "24" and "Lost," according to Nielsen Live Plus same-day ratings for week 36 ending May 27.

NCIS ranked fifth for the week among all primetime programs, behind only the season finales of "American Idol" and "Dancing with the Stars" (two broadcasts each). NCIS averaged 14.14 million viewers, more than the finales of "Lost" (13.86m), "Heroes" (13.48m) and "24" (10.31m).

For the week in viewers, CBS (9.00m) trailed FOX (11.56m) and topped ABC (8.86m) and NBC (5.55m). For the season In viewers, CBS (12.46m) was first, followed by FOX (10.41m), ABC (9.94m) and NBC (8.88m).

For the week in households, CBS (6.0/11) was -13% behind FOX (6.9/12) and finished +3% ahead of ABC (5.8/10) and +62% ahead of NBC (3.7/07). In the 2006-07 season, CBS was first in households (7.9/13), outpacing ABC and FOX by +23% (6.4/10, each) and NBC by +36% (5.8/09).

For the week in key demographics, CBS averaged a 2.9/08 in adults 25-54 and 2.2/07 in adults 18-49. In the 2006-07, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.7/10).

? NCIS finished second in households (9.0/14), viewers (14.14m), adults 25-54 (4.4/11) and adults 18-49 (3.4/10) - all behind "American Idol".

? CBS TUESDAY MOVIE SPECIAL: "Jesse Stone: Sea Change" (S) was second in households (8.3/13), viewers (13.01m) and adults 25-54 (3.6/08).

? 48 HOURS MYSTERY was first in households (5.0/10), viewers (7.10m), adults 25-54 (2.4/08) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (2.0/07, with ABC). 48 HOURS MYSTERY was Saturday's top program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.
