CBS PLACES FIRST IN VIEWERS FOR THE EIGHTH TIME IN NINE WEEKS THIS SUMMER

CBS is Also Second in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

CBS Has Seven of the Week's Top Eight Scripted Programs

CBS placed first in viewers for the eighth time in nine summer weeks as the Network had seven of the top eight scripted programs, according to Nielsen Live Plus same-day ratings for the week ending July 29, week 45 of the 2006-2007 television year.

CSI, TWO AND A HALF MEN, SHARK - THURSDAY SPECIAL, CSI: NY, CSI: MIAMI, NCIS and CRIMNAL MINDS were seven of the week's top eight scripted series.

For the week in viewers, CBS (6.34m) was first followed by FOX (5.81m), NBC (5.37m) and ABC (4.95m). Summer-to-date among viewers, CBS (6.88m) leads FOX (5.96m), NBC (5.68m) and ABC (4.83m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in adults 25-54 (2.2/07) and adults 18-49 (1.8/06).

For the week in households, CBS (4.3/08) was +16% ahead of FOX (3.7/07), +23% ahead of NBC (3.5/07) and +30% ahead of ABC (3.3/06). Summer-to-date in households, CBS (4.7/09) has a +24% advantage over both NBC (3.8/07) and FOX (3.8/07) and +47% advantage over ABC (3.2/06).
