CBS First in Viewers...Adults 18-49...Adults 25-54

"CSI" Remains the #1 Program for the Third Week in a Row

CBS Rules at 10 PM as "CSI: Miami," "CSI: NY," "Without a Trace" and "Numb3rs" All Deliver Time Period Wins in all Key Measures

"60 Minutes" Clocks in with its Best Viewer Delivery Since November 2006

"NCIS" and "Criminal Minds" Remain Top 10 Stalwarts as CBS Commands 10 of the Weeks Top 15 Programs Among Viewers

CBS won the third week of the season in all key measures as the Network had 10 of the top 15 programs among viewers including CSI finishing first for the third consecutive week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Oct. 14.

This marks CBS's second consecutive weekly win in viewers based on live plus same day viewing (third consecutive with live plus 7 day DVR playback included), second straight in adults 25-54 and first of the season in adults 18-49. The week ended with a 52-minute NFL prime overrun ("New England Patriots vs. Dallas Cowboys") that attracted 32.25 million viewers and a 12.2/37 in adults 18-49,

The third week of the season also saw CBS win the 10:00 PM hour in all key measures on four nights: Monday (CSI: MIAMI), Wednesday (CSI: NY), Thursday (WITHOUT A TRACE) and Friday (NUMB3RS).

For the week in viewers, CBS (12.38m) led ABC (11.03m), NBC (8.05m) and FOX (7.78m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (12.11m), ahead of ABC (11.41m), NBC (9.25m) and FOX (7.39m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (4.5/12) for the second straight week and tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.6/10, with ABC).

For the week in households, CBS (7.9/13) was +10% ahead of ABC (7.2/12), +52% ahead of NBC (5.2/09) and +61% ahead of FOX (4.9/08). Season-to-date, CBS moves into first (7.7/13), +3% ahead of ABC (7.5/12), +33% ahead of NBC (5.8/10) and +67% ahead of FOX (4.6/07).

CBS Weekly Highlights:

? CSI: MIAMI was first in households (9.6/15), viewers (14.45m), adults 25-54 (5.6/13), adults 18-49 (4.5/11) and adults 18-34 (3.3/09).

? NCIS was first in households (10.4/17), viewers (16.36m), adults 25-54 (5.0/13) and adults 18-49 (3.4/10) - all for the second consecutive week.

? KID NATION (4.3/07, 6.91m) was first in children 6-11 (1.8/07) and children 2-11 (1.7/07) at 8PM. KID NATION was Wednesday's #1 program in children 2-11 and children 6-11.

? CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (9.3/14), viewers (14.55m), second in adults 25-54 (5.1/12, -0.2 behind ABC) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (3.9/10, with NBC). Compared to last week, CRIMINAL MINDS was up +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.8/10) and even in both viewers and adults 25-54.

? CSI: NY won its time period in households (8.8/15), viewers (13.43m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and adults 18-49 (4.1/11). Compared to last week, CSI: NY was up +6% in households (from 8.3/14), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 3.9/10), even in adults 25-54 and added +740,000 viewers (from 12.69m, +6%). .

-- Thursday, CBS was first in households (10.0/16), viewers (15.91m), adults 25-54 (5.9/14) - all for the third consecutive week - and a strong second in adults 18-49 (4.8/12, -0.3 behind ABC). CBS won every half-hour in households and viewers for the third consecutive week.

? SURVIVOR: CHINA was first in households (8.6/14), viewers (14.22m), adults 25-54 (5.7/14) and adults 18-49 (4.6/13). SURVIVOR: CHINA has won its time period in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for four consecutive weeks. Compared to last week, SURVIVOR was up +1% in households (from 8.5/14), +2% in adults 18-49 (from 4.5/13), even in adults 25-54 and added +80,000 viewers (from 14.14m, +1%).

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (12.4/19), viewers (19.79m), second in adults 25-54 (7.6/17) and adults 18-49 (6.1/15). CSI topped "Grey's Anatomy" for the third consecutive week in both households and viewers.

? WITHOUT A TRACE won its time period for the third consecutive week in households (8.9/15), viewers (13.62m), adults 25-54 (4.5/12) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.6/10, with ABC).

? GHOST WHISPERER was first in adults 25-54 (3.4/11), tied for first in adults 18-49 (2.5/09, with FOX's baseball), second in households (5.7/10) and viewers (8.90m) behind "Deal or No Deal". Compared to last week, GHOST WHISPERER was up +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.3/10), even in households, viewers and adults 18-49.

? NUMB3RS was first in households (6.0/11), viewers (9.16m), adults 25-54 (3.5/10), adults 18-49 (2.5/08) and adults 18-34 (1.8/07).

-- Sunday, CBS was first in households (11.9/19), viewers (18.65m), adults 25-54 (6.5/16) and adults 18-49 (5.5/14). CBS's NFL run over posted a 19.7/35 with 32.25m viewers from 7:00-7.52PM, leading the time period in households, viewers, adults 25-54 (13.1/37) and adults 18-49 (12.2/37). The entire game posted an 18.0/34 with 29.12m viewers, the best viewer delivery of any program on any network since the season finale of "American Idol" on May 23, 2007.

? 60 MINUTES (7:52-9:22 PM) posted an 11.2/17 with 17.23m viewers, 5.4/12 in adults 25-54 and 4.2/11 in adults 18-49. From 8:00-9:30PM, 60 MINUTES was first in households, viewers, second in adults 25-54 and tied for second in adults 18-49 (with NBC's football). This is 60 MINUTES best delivery in households and viewers since November 19, 2006 and best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 performance since January 14, 2007.

? COLD CASE (9:22-10:22PM) was second from 9:30-10:30PM in households (9.1/14), viewers (13.88m), posting season highs in households and viewers, matched season highs in adults 25-54 (4.5/10) and adults 18-49 (3.4/08).
