It was a good week for Gil Grissom and Jack Malone as the two-hour CSI/WITHOUT A TRACE crossover topped the weekly ratings, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Nov. 11, week seven of the 2007-2008 television season.
CSI (21.9 million viewers) delivered its largest audience since its season premiere while WITHOUT A TRACE (21.7m) came through with its largest audience and highest adult 18-49 ratings since early 2006. The week also saw fifth year drama NCIS score its second largest audience ever.
For the week in viewers, CBS (11.89m) just barely trailed ABC (11.93m) and placed ahead of FOX (8.84m) and NBC (8.20m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (12.18m), ahead of ABC (11.66m), FOX (9.47m) and NBC (8.75m).
For the week in key demographics, CBS averaged a 4.3/10 in adults 25-54 and 3.3/09 in adults 18-49. Season to date, CBS is tied for first in adults 25-54 (4.5/11, with ABC) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (3.9/10, with FOX).
For the week in households, CBS (7.6/12) was -3% behind ABC (7.8/13), +43% ahead of FOX (5.3/08) and +46% ahead of NBC (5.2/08). Season-to-date, CBS remains first (7.8/13), +1% ahead of ABC (7.7/12), +32% ahead of FOX (5.9/09) and +42% ahead of NBC (5.5/09).
For the first 11 nights of the November 2007 sweep, CBS is first in households (7.8/11), viewers (12.21m) and adults 25-54 (4.4/11) and a strong second in adults 18-49 (3.5/09, -0.2 behind ABC).

-- On Thursday, CBS was first in households (12.1/19), viewers (19.50m), adults 25-54 (7.4/17) and adults 18-49 (5.9/15). This is CBS's best Thursday delivery in households and viewers since May 18, 2006, in adults 25-54 since September 28, 2006 and in adults 18-49 since September 27, 2007.
? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (13.7/20), viewers (21.94m), second in adults 25-54 (8.2/18, -0.1 behind ABC) and adults 18-49 (6.4/15). This is CSI's best delivery in households, viewers and adults 25-54 since the September 27, 2007 season premiere. CSI was up +15% in households (from 11.9/18), +11% in adults 25-54 (from 7.4/16), +12% in adults 18-49 (from 5.7/14) and added +2.88m viewers (from 19.06m, +15%) compared to last week.
? WITHOUT A TRACE was first in households (13.8/23), viewers (21.69m), adults 25-54 (8.0/20) and adults 18-49 (6.4/17). This is CBS's best delivery in this time period with a regularly scheduled program in households and viewers since Jan. 26, 2006 (WITHOUT A TRACE) and in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since March 9, 2006 (WITHOUT A TRACE). WITHOUT A TRACE was up +42% in households (from 9.7/16), +63% in adults 25-54 (from 4.9/13), +64% in adults 18-49 (from 3.9/10) and added +7.11m viewers (from 14.58m, +49%) compared to last week.
? SURVIVOR: CHINA was first in households (8.7/14), viewers (14.86m), adults 25-54 (6.1/15) and adults 18-49 (4.8/13). This is SURVIVOR CHINA's best delivery in households, viewers and adults 25-54 since the first episode on Sept. 20, 2007. This is the third best delivery this season in adults 18-49, just behind the September 20th first episode and last week's performance. SURVIVOR: CHINA has won its time period in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for eight consecutive weeks.
? NCIS was first in households (11.4/17), viewers (18.15m), adults 25-54 (5.5/13) and adults 18-49 (4.0/11). This is the sixth consecutive time period win in households, viewers and adults 25-54 for NCIS and fifth win in six weeks in adults 18-49. This is NCIS's second best delivery ever in viewers with a first-run, regularly scheduled episode (only -0.02m behind November 29, 2005), the best household delivery since October 25, 2005 (and third best ever) as well as the season's second best delivery in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. Compared to last week, NCIS was up +10% in households (from 10.4/17), +12% in adults 25-54 (from 4.9/13), +21% in adults 18-49 (from 3.3/09) and added +1.82m viewers (from 16.33m, +11%).
? HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was second in households (5.4/08), viewers (8.77m), adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and adults 18-49 (3.4/09). HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER posted season highs in viewers and matched the season's best delivery in households, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. Compared to last week, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +13% in households (from 4.8/07), +14% in adults 25-54 (from 3.5/09), +10% in adults 18-49 (from 3.1/08) and added +950,000 viewers (from 7.82m, +12%).
? THE BIG BANG THEORY was second in households (5.8/08), viewers (9.37m), adults 25-54 (4.4/10) and adults 18-49 (3.7/09). THE BIG BANG THEORY posted its best deliveries in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since its Sept. 24, 2007 premiere. Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +9% in both households (from 5.3/08) and adults 18-49 (from 3.4/09), +10% in adults 25-54 (from 4.0/09) and added +960,000 viewers (from 8.41m, +11%).
? TWO AND A HALF MEN was second in households (8.5/12), viewers (13.80m), adults 25-54 (6.2/13, -0.2 behind ABC) and adults 18-49 (4.9/11, -0.1 behind ABC). TWO AND A HALF MEN matched season highs in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. Compared to last week, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +3% in adults 25-54 (from 6.0/13), even in both households and adults 18-49 and added +70,000 viewers (from 13.73m, +1%).
? RULES OF ENGAGEMENT was second in households (6.8/10), viewers (10.77m), tied for second in adults 25-54 (5.0/11, with NBC). RULES OF ENGAGEMENT was up +1% in households (from 6.7/10), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.9/10), even in adults 18-49 (4.0/09) and added +200,000 viewers (from 10.57m, +2%) compared to last week.

Compared to last week, MOONLIGHT was up +2% in households (from 4.9/09), +14% in both adults 25-54 (from 2.9/08) and adults 18-49 (from 2.2/07) and added +350,000 viewers (from 7.55m, +5%).
? NUMB3RS was first in households (6.5/12), viewers (9.94m), adults 25-54 (3.8/10) and adults 18-49 (2.8/08). This is NUMB3RS best delivery in both households and viewers this season, matches the best delivery in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 (with October 5, 2007's broadcast).
? THE AMAZING RACE 12 (6.4/10, 10.48m) delivered 10 million viewers plus for the second week in a row. This is the first time THE AMAZING RACE delivered more than 10 million viewers in two consecutive episodes since March 18 and March 25, 2007.
? SHARK was up +9% in adults 25-54 (3.7/09 from 3.4/10), +8% in adults 18-49 (2.6/07 from 2.4/07), even in households (7.6/13) and added +300,000 viewers (11.46m from 11.16m, +3%) compared to last week.
