HALLMARK CHANNEL RANKS #4 IN PRIME TIME FOR WEEK OF NOV. 19-25
Family-Friendly Network is Boosted by Premiere of Original Holiday Movie, "A Grandpa for Christmas"
Hallmark Channel, the nation's leading family-friendly programmer, ranked an impressive #4 in Prime Time for the week ending November 25 with a 1.5 HH rating and 1.3 million homes becoming the network's highest-ever week in its history. The network also ranked #6 in Prime Time among W25-54.
The network attributes this overwhelming success to the phenomenal ratings of its original holiday movie premiere, "A Grandpa for Christmas," starring Ernest Borgnine, on Saturday, November 24 (9-11 p.m., ET/PT), which scored a 3.2 HH rating and delivered over 2.7 million homes.
The original movie also helped Hallmark Channel rank #1 in Prime Time for Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 24-25). The Prime Time HH rating on Saturday was a strong 3.0 followed on Sunday by a 2.5. "A Grandpa for Christmas" also ranks as the network's third-highest-ever-rated original movie premiere.
