CBS Is First in All Key Measures for the Second Consecutive Week

Network Has Four of the Top Five Programs and Eight of 10; Only Non-CBS Top 10 Programs Are Football

"CSI" is the Week's No. 1 Program Among Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

"Survivor: China" Finale Ranks No. 2 While Thursday's Penultimate "Survivor" Is No. 5

First-run programming on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday carried CBS to its most dominating victory of the season, placing first in all key measures for the second consecutive week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 16, week 12 of the 2007-2008 television season.

CBS had four of the top five programs including No. 1 CSI and eight of the top 10 including two editions of SURVIVOR: CHINA (Sunday's finale at No. 2 and Thursday's penultimate edition at No. 5). The only non-CBS broadcasts in the week's top 10 were Sunday night's football game and FOX's post NFL show.

For the week in viewers, CBS (11.08m) topped NBC (8.56m), FOX (7.43m) and ABC (6.30m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (12.04m), ahead of ABC (11.17m), FOX (8.83m) and NBC (8.80m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09), both for the second consecutive week. This is CBS's sixth win this season in adults 25-54 and the second outright win in adults 18-49 Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.4/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.5/09, -0.2 behind ABC).

For the week in households, CBS (7.0/12) was +27% ahead of NBC (5.5/09), +49% ahead of FOX (4.7/08) and +67% ahead of ABC (4.2/07). Season-to-date, CBS is first (7.6/12), +4% ahead of ABC (7.3/12), +36% ahead of NBC (5.6/09) and +38% ahead of FOX (5.5/09).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

? CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (9.0/14), viewers (14.18m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.6/10, with NBC). This is the fourth consecutive time CRIMINAL MINDS was first in its time slot in these measures with a first-run broadcast.

? CSI: NY was first in households (9.4/16), viewers (14.36m), adults 25-54 (4.9/13) and adults 18-49 (4.1/11). This is CSI: NY's fifth consecutive win in these measures. CSI: NY beat the competition combined in households (vs. 8.7/15, +8%), viewers (vs. 12.26m, +17%), adults 25-54 (vs. 4.7/12, +4%) and adults 18-49 (vs. 3.9/11, +5%).

-- Thursday, CBS was first in households (10.4/17), viewers (16.53m), adults 25-54 (6.1/15) and adults 18-49 (4.9/14), winning every half hour in these key measures. CBS has won 11 of the 12 Thursdays this season in households, viewers and adults 25-54 and last seven Thursdays in a row in these measures. CBS won five of the last six Thursdays in adults 18-49.

? SURVIVOR: CHINA was first in households (8.7/14), viewers (14.49m), adults 25-54 (5.6/15) and adults 18-49 (4.6/13). This is SURVIVOR CHINA's best delivery in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since Nov. 15, 2007.

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (12.5/19), viewers (19.87m), adults 25-54 (7.5/18) and adults 18-49 (6.1/16). This is CSI's best delivery in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since Nov. 15, 2007.
