CBS WINS TUESDAY FOR THE FIFTH CONSECUTIVE WEEK
"NCIS" is Tuesday's Number One Program
Freshman Hit "The Mentalist" and "Without a Trace" Post Gains
CBS won Tuesday in viewers for the fifth consecutive week as the Network's as NCIS won its time period and freshman hit THE MENTALIST and WITHOUT A TRACE both notched week-to-week increases, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 21.
At 8:00 PM, NCIS won its time period in households (10.7/17), viewers (17.06m), finished second in adults 25-54 (5.0/13) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10). NCIS was the night's Number One program in households and viewers.
THE MENTALIST was first in adults 25-54 (4.8/11), second in households (9.7/15), viewers (15.29m, -0.73m behind ABC) and averaged a 3.4/09 in adults 18-49. THE MENTALIST has finished first in its time slot in adults 25-54 for three consecutive broadcasts. Compared to the last week, THE MENTALIST was up +3% in households (from 9.4/14), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.7/11), even in adults 18-49 and added +350,000 viewers (from 14.94m, +2%).
WITHOUT A TRACE won its time period in households (7.7/13), viewers (11.60m), finished second in adults 25-54 (3.7/09) and adults 18-49 (2.6/07). Compared to the last episode, WITHOUT A TRACE was up +5% in households (from 7.3/12), +9% in adults 25-54 (from 3.4/09), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.5/07) and added +550,000 viewers (from 11.05m, +5%).
For the night, CBS was first in households (9.3/15), viewers (14.65m), second in adults 25-54 (4.5/11) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09). CBS has won all five Tuesdays this season in viewers.
