October 27, 2009 (Burbank, CA) - The CW's veteran hit drama ONE TREE HILL climbed to season highs among women 18-34 (2.4/7-tie), adults 18-34 (1.6/5-tie), adults 18-49 (1.3/3), women 18-49 (1.8/4) and total viewers (2.7mil), according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Monday, Oct. 26, 2009.

Compared to last week, ONE TREE HILL improved by 9% in women 18-34, 14% in adults 18-34, 20% in women 18-49, 30% in adults 18-49 and 23% in total viewers.

GOSSIP GIRL was also on the rise, gaining 12% in women 18-34 (2.8/7), 20% in adults 18-34 (1.8/5), 9% in adults 18-49 (1.2/3), 13% in women 18-49 (1.8/4), and 11% in total viewers (2.2mil) versus a week ago. GOSSIP GIRL delivered its best women 18-34 and adults 18-34 in a month (best since 9/28/09).

GOSSIP GIRL ranked second in the 9:00p.m. hour among women 18-34 and females 12-34 (2.5/7), behind only ABC.

Overall, The CW delivered its best Monday in a month among women 18-34 (2.6/7), adults 18-34 (1.7/5) and women 18-49 (1.8/4). Compared to last week, The CW's Monday ratings grew 13% in women 18-34 (2.6/7), 13% in adults 18-34 (1.7/5), 13% in women 18-49 (1.8/4), 9% in adults 18-49 (1.2/3) and 19% in total viewers (2.5mil).

NOTE: The final ratings for The CW's Monday dramas improved from this morning's preliminary ratings, particularly in the adult and women demos. This revised release reflects those changes.

GOSSIP GIRL delivered its best women 18-34, women 18-49 and adults 18-34 ratings in a month (best since 9/28/09).

GOSSIP GIRL ranked second in the 9:00p.m. hour among women 18-34, females 12-34 (2.5/7) and female teens (1.5/5), behind only ABC.

GOSSIP GIRL built on its ONE TREE HILL lead-in by 12% in women 18-34, 6% in adults 18-34 and 6% in women 18-49.

Overall, The CW matched its best Monday of the season in adults 18-34 (1.8/5), adults 18-49 (1.3/3) and women 18-49 (1.9/5).
