"AMERICAN IDOL" AND "GLEE" LEAD FOX TO ANOTHER VICTORY

Dominant performances by AMERICAN IDOL and GLEE led FOX to another weekly victory among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. AMERICAN IDOL ranked as the No. 1 program of the week. AMERICAN IDOL and GLEE kept FOX at No. 1 for the season, out-pacing the next highest rated competitor by +13%.

On Tuesday, AMERICAN IDOL and GLEE won the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos and outperformed the nearest competition for the night by +81% among Adults 18-49, +96% among Adults 18-34and +192% among Teens (3.8/13 vs. 1.3/5 for CBS).

Tuesday's Top 4 performance show on AMERICAN IDOL showed growth over last week of +10% among Adults 18-49, +6% among Adults 18-34, +9% among Teens and +10% in Total Viewers.

AMERICAN IDOL dominated its 8p hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos. In the 8p hour AMERICAN IDOL showed advantages over its nearest competitors of +74% among Adults 18-49 (6.8/18 vs. 3.9/11 for CBS), +86% among Adults 18-34 (5.2/16 vs. 2.8/9 for CBS), +118% among Teens (3.7/14 vs. 1.7/6 for CBS) and +12% in Total Viewers (19.2 vs. 17.2 Mil for CBS.)

Week four of GLEE posted a 4.8/12 among Adults 18-49, virtually identical to last week (4.9/13), while it showed growth of +9% in Teens and was the highest rated program of the night in Teens.

In head to head competition in the 9p hour, GLEE outperformed its nearest competitors by +17% among Adults 18-49, +31% among Adults A18-34 and +153% among Teens.

So far this spring GLEE has outperformed its prior season originals average (Wed 9p) by +58% among Adults 18-49, +44% among Adults 18-34, +58% among Teens and +70% among Total Viewers.

On Wednesday, the AMERICAN IDOL results show won its hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos and showed advantages over its nearest competitors of +89% among Adults 18-49, +56% among Adults 18-34, +121% among Teens and +50% in Total Viewers.

AMERICAN IDOL's Tue/Wed average this week outperformed ABC's Dancing With The Stars Mon/Tue average by +89% among Adults 18-49 (6.8/18 vs. 3.6/10) and +14% in Total Viewers (19.4 vs. 17.0 Mil.)

So far this season, AMERICAN IDOL's Most Current ratings vs. the comparable Most Current weeks last year show 92% retention among Adults 18-49 (8.8/23 vs. 9.6/24), 92% among Adults 18-34 (7.3/21 vs. 7.9/22), 94% among Teens (6.0/20 vs. 6.4/20) and 92% in Total Viewers (24.1 vs. 26.1 Mil.)
