JIMMY FALLON OUT-DELIVERS 'LATE LATE SHOW' IN ADULTS 18-49, ADULTS 18-34 AND OTHER KEY MEASURES

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - June 24, 2010 - NBC's late-night lineup has delivered ratings wins for the week of June 14-18, with "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" out-delivering all cable and regular broadcast competition in the 11:35 p.m. ET hour in adult 18-49 viewers and total viewers. Jay beat CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" in every key demographic category: adults, men and women 18-49, 18-34, 25-54 and total viewers, and delivered bigger audiences than ABC's combination of "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in virtually all key measures: adults, men and women 18-49; adults, men and women 25-54; adults and women 18-34 and total viewers.

Note: ABC's late night programs were delayed on Tuesday and Thursday due to the NBA Finals and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" was in encores on Monday and Wednesday. Additionally, CBS's late night programs on Tuesday were delayed, re-titled and excluded from the weekly averages.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" generated bigger audiences than CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in adults and men 18-34, adults and men 18-49 and men 25-54.

To date, Jay Leno has ranked #1 in adult 18-49 rating on 74 of 80 nights versus "Late Show" (including ties), since returning as host of "Tonight" on March 1. In total viewers, Jay has ranked #1 on 75 of 80 nights.

For the week of June 14-18, Jay's average 1.225 million adults 18-49 outscored Letterman's 1.018 million; in total viewers, Jay's audience of 3.698 million persons beat Letterman's 3.130 million; and in adults 18-34, Jay's 454,000 topped Letterman's 359,000. At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon's 689,000 adults 18-49 topped Ferguson's 628,000; in total viewers, Jimmy's 1.538 million trailed Ferguson's 1.580 million; and in adults 18-34, Jimmy's 283,000 out-delivered Ferguson's 280,000.
