NEW YORK-Aug. 3, 2010-Nickelodeon delivered a sizzling summer surprise with iCarly's "iGot a Hot Room" (Friday, July 30, at 8 p.m. ET/PT), giving fans a never-before-seen look at Carly's bedroom. The half-hour episode scored basic cable's top spot for the week (7/26/10-8/1/10) with total viewers (7.7 million) and also ranked as the number-one telecast with all kid and tween demos. The premiere also was the top telecast on broadcast and basic cable on Friday with viewers P2+ and all kid and tween demos-averaging an 11.0/3.9 million K2-11, a 14.2/3.0 million K6-11 and a 14.0/3.0 million T9-14. Year to date, iCarly ranks as the top series on all TV with kids 2-11.

"iGot a Hot Room" posted triple-digit gains with total viewers (+193%), kids 2-11 (+175%), kids 6-11 (+202%) and tweens 9-14 (+278%). The episode even ranked as basic cable's top telecast for the night with adults 18-49 (1.6/1.8 million, +220%) and was in striking distance of the top spot with adults 18-49 on broadcast television, coming in second to ABC's Primetime with only two thousand average total viewers between them.

In the week leading up to the premiere of "iGot a Hot Room," iCarly.com featured a slew of fun activities for fans, including a brand-new online game inspired by Carly's love of gummy bears, which has generated 884,000 game sessions since launch (7/26/10-8/1/10). Additionally, Nick.com launched an iCarly Hot Room Boutique that helped the site garner its highest trafficked week since Kids' Choice Awards with 4.9 million unique visitors.

In "iGot a Hot Room" fans get to see Carly Shay's bedroom for the first time ever. When a birthday gift from Spencer accidentally catches fire and destroys Carly's bedroom, Spencer recruits the iCarly gang to help make her room into the coolest, most incredible new bedroom imaginable.

Nickelodeon celebrated its second best weekly performance this year, closing the week (7/26/10-8/1/10) as the number-one total day cable net with K2-11 (4.1/1.5 million, +24%) and total viewers (2.7 million, +24%), fueled by solid performances by live-action hit iCarly and animated fan favorite SpongeBob SquarePants.
