CBS WINS TUESDAY IN VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54 FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE WEEK
"NCIS" is the Night's #1 Program in Viewers and Adults 25-54
"NCIS: Los Angeles" Win its Time Period in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54
"The Good Wife" is First at 10:00 PM in Viewers and Key Demos
CBS won Tuesday in viewers and adults 25-54 for the third consecutive week behind time period-winning performances by the Network's drama lineup of NCIS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES and THE GOOD WIFE, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 5.
NCIS was first in households (11.8/19), viewers (19.48m) and adults 25-54 (5.2/14), placing second in adults 18-49 (3.7/11). Compared to last week, NCIS added +330,000 viewers (from 19.15m, +2%). This was the best viewers delivery for NCIS since March 9, 2010. NCIS was Tuesday's #1 program in viewers and adults 25-54.
At 9:00 PM, NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and adults 18-49 (3.4/09); it was second in both households (9.9/16) and viewers (16.19m, -0.22m behind ABC).
At 10:00 PM, THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (8.2/14), viewers (12.67m), adults 25-54 (3.5/10) and adults 18-49 (2.5/07) for the second straight week.
For the night, CBS was first in households (10.0/16), viewers (16.11m) and adults 25-54 (4.5/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.2/09, -0.1 behind FOX). CBS has been first on Tuesday in households, viewers and adults 25-54 for the last three weeks. This was CBS's closest finish to FOX in adults 18-49 (-0.1) on a Tuesday so far this season.
