ON WEDNESDAY, AN ENCORE 'LAW & ORDER: SVU' DOMINATES ITS 10 P.M. TIME PERIOD, TOPPING THE COMPETING BROADCAST NETWORKS IN 18-49, TOTAL VIEWERS AND EVERY KEY RATINGS CATEGORY

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - December 28, 2010 - Paced by the finale of "The Sing Off," which tied as the #1 entertainment program of the week in the key demographic of adults 18-49, NBC tied for #2 in adults 18-49 for the week of December 20-26, averaging a 1.4 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 4.7 million viewers overall, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

For the week, NBC also ranked #2 outright in adults, men and women 18-34 and men 18-49 and was tied for #2 in women 18-49 and women 25-54.

NBC's primetime performance this week was led by Monday's finale of "The Sing Off," which tied as the #1 show of the week in the key demographic of adults 18-49 (tied with Fox's Sunday "Simpsons" encore). In total viewers, Monday's finale of "The Sing Off" ranked #5 among all primetime programs (note: rankings exclude all football overruns and pre-game and post-game telecasts).

Also ranking among the top 10 programs of the week in adults 18-49 was NBC's encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live Presents: A Very Gilly Christmas," which ranked #5 (tied) and "Minute To Win It," which ranked #7 (tied).

Primetime averages for the week of December 20-26 in adults 18-49 were Fox (1.8/6), NBC and CBS (1.4/4), ABC (1.3/4) and CW (0.4/1). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (7.1 million), Fox (5.2 million), ABC (4.9 million), NBC (4.7 million) and CW (1.1 million).

Season-to-date through 14 weeks, NBC ranks #3 in adults 18-49, with a 2.7 rating in that key demographic, up from a #4 ranking at this same point last season. NBC is tied for #2 in adults 25-54 season-to-date, up 3 percent in 25-54 rating versus the first 14 weeks last year (3.2 vs. 3.1). NBC ranks #3 in total viewers season to date, up 2 percent year to year through the first 14 weeks of the season (8.010 million vs. 7.830 million).

NBC highlights for the week of December 20-26

· On Monday, the finale of "The Sing Off" paced NBC to a primetime victory in adults 18-49 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW and was the #1 program of the night on those networks.

· "The Sing Off" finale ranked #1 in its two-hour time period among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54, total viewers and most other key measures.

· This year's "Sing Off" finale was up 17 percent in adults 18-49 and 18 percent in total viewers versus last year's finale.

· For its full five telecasts this year, "The Sing Off" was up versus last year's "Sing Off" by 26 percent in adults 18-49 and by 24 percent or more than 1.6 million persons in total viewers.

· NBC ranked #1 Monday night among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and other key demographics

· On Tuesday, an encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live Presents: A Very Gilly Christmas" was the #1 program of the night in the key demographic of adults 18-49 on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW.

· "Saturday Night Live Presents: A Very Gilly Christmas" won its two-hour time period among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and nearly all other key demographics, including adults 18-34 and adults 25-54. For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, the encore special led the hour in every key demographic category, topping the ABC-CBS competition combined in adults 18-49 and other key measures.

· Also on Tuesday, "Minute To Win It" tied for #1 in its time period in adults 18-49 and ranked #1 outright among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-34 and other key demos.

· "Minute" clocked significant gains from its first half-hour to its second in all key categories, including increases of 26 percent in adults 18-49, 27 percent in adults 25-54, 36 percent in adults 18-34 and 19 percent or more than 1.2 million persons in total viewers.

· NBC ranked #1 Tuesday night among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and most other key demographics. This marks NBC's second Tuesday win in a row in adults 18-49.

· On Wednesday, a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" dominated the 10 p.m. ET time period among ABC, CBS and NBC, topping the competing rebroadcast networks in every key ratings category - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49, 25-54, as well as total viewers. In adults 18-49, the "SVU" margin of victory was 55 percent.

· On Friday, Christmas Eve, NBC's 30th primetime telecast of the 1946 film classic "It's a Wonderful Life" cheered the network with a primetime win in adults 18-49 and all other key demographics. From its first half-hour to its sixth, "It's a Wonderful Life" increased by 80 percent in 18-49 rating and by 40 percent or more than 1.6 million persons in total viewers.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

On Monday, Dec.20 from 8-10:01 p.m. ET, the finale of "The Sing Off" (2.7 rating, 7 share in adults 18-49, 8.6 million viewers overall) led NBC to a primetime victory in adults 18-49 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW and was the #1 program of the night on those networks.

"The Sing Off" ranked #1 in its two-hour time period among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54, total viewers and most other key measures.

This year's "Sing Off" finale was up 17 percent in 18-49 rating versus last year's finale (2.7 vs. a 2.3 on Monday, Dec. 21, 2009). In total viewers, this year's "Sing Off" finale grew by 18 percent or more than 1.3 million persons versus last year (8.612 million vs. 7.277 million).

Through its full five telecasts this year, "The Sing Off" was up versus last year's four telecasts by 26 percent in 18-49 rating (2.9 vs. 2.3) and by 24 percent or more than 1.6 million persons in total viewers (8.557 million vs. 6.884 million.

Monday at 10:01 p.m. ET, a preview telecast of "Perfect Couples" averaged a 1.3/3 in adults 18-49 and 3.6 million viewers overall. "Perfect Couples" ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-34 and women 18-34. At 10:31 p.m., an encore telecast of "The Office" delivered a 0.9/2 in 18-49 and 2.2 million viewers overall.

NBC ranked #1 Monday night among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and was also #1 in adults 18-34 and all key adult-female demographics - women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.

On Tuesday, Dec. 21 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Minute To Win It" (2.2/7 in adults 18-49, 7.0 million viewers overall) tied for #1 in adults 18-49 and ranked #1 outright among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-34 and other key demos.

"Minute To Win It" clocked significant gains in all key categories from its first half-hour to its second, including increases of 26 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 2.4 from a 1.9), 27 percent in adults 25-54 (2.8 vs. 2.2), 36 percent in adults 18-34 (1.9 vs. 1.4) and 19 percent or more than 1.2 million persons in total viewers (to 7.7 million from 6.4 million).

Tuesday from 9-11 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live Presents: A Very Gilly Christmas" (2.3/7 in adults 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall) was the #1 program of the night in the key demographic of adults 18-49 on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW.

The special won its two-hour time period among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and nearly all other key demographics, including adults and women 18-34, men and women 18-49 and adults, men and women 25-54.

For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Saturday Night Live Presents: A Very Gilly Christmas" led the hour in every key demographic category, topping the ABC-CBS competition combined in adults 18-49 and other key measures.

NBC ranked #1 Tuesday night among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and was also #1 in adults, men and women 18-34, men and women 18-49, adults 25-54 (tied) and men 25-54. This marks NBC's second Tuesday win in a row in adults 18-49.

On Wednesday, Dec. 22 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Undercovers" averaged a 1.1/4 in 18-49 and 4.2 million viewers overall.

Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" averaged a 1.2/4 in 18-49 and 5.0 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "SVU" grew by 8 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.3 from a 1.2) and by 13 percent in total viewers (to 5.3 million from 4.7 million).

Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, a second rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 6.6 million viewers overall) dominated the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC, topping the competing rebroadcast networks in every key ratings category - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49, 25-54, as well as total viewers. In adults 18-49, the "SVU" margin of victory was 55 percent (1.7 vs. a 1.1 for CBS's second-place "Defenders" encore). From its first half-hour to its second, "SVU" increased by 20 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.8 from a 1.5) and 16 percent in total viewers (to 7.0 million from 6.1 million).

On Thursday, Dec. 23 from 8-8:30 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Community" averaged a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 2.3 million viewers overall. From 8:30-9 p.m., a rebroadcast of "30 Rock" delivered a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 2.6 million viewers overall.

Thursday from 9-9:31 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "The Office" earned a 1.0/3 in adults 18-49 and 2.8 million viewers overall. From 9:31-10 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Outsourced" posted a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 2.4 million viewers overall.

Thursday from 10-11 p.m. ET, an encore of "The Office" logged a 1.0/3 and 2.5 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "The Office" grew by 11 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.0 from a 0.9) and by 20 percent in women 18-49 (1.2 vs. 1.0).

On Friday, December 24 from 8-11 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of the 1946 movie classic "It's a Wonderful Life" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall) ranked #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and all other key demographic measures - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.

This marks NBC's second consecutive Friday night win in adults 18-49.

From its first half-hour to its sixth, "It's a Wonderful Life" increased by 80 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.8/6 from a 1.0/4) and by 40 percent or more than 1.6 million persons in total viewers (to 5.8 million from 4.1 million).

This marks NBC's 30th primetime telecast of "It's a Wonderful Life," directed by Frank Capra and starring Jimmy Stewart, since the movie was brought to broadcast network television in 1994. In 2006, the American Film Institute named "It's a Wonderful Life" the most inspiring movie of all time in its list of America's 100 Most Inspiring Movies.

On Saturday, December 25 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Community" averaged a 0.3/1 in 18-49 and 1.4 million viewers overall. At 8:30 p.m., a rebroadcast of "30 Rock" delivered a 0.3/1 and 1.4 million viewers overall.

Saturday from 9-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Los Angeles" averaged a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 2.6 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "Law & Order: LA" increased by 25 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.5 from a 0.4), 33 percent in adults 25-54 (0.8 vs. 0.6) and 28 percent in total viewers (2.9 million vs. 2.3 million).

Saturday at 10 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall) grew from its first half-hour to its second, by 25 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.0 from a 0.8) and by 18 percent in total viewers (5.1 million vs. 4.3 million).

On Sunday Dec. 26 from 7:30-8 p.m. ET, "Football Night in America 2" averaged a 1.5/5 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall and a 2.9/5 household rating/share. "Football Night in America 3" from 8-8:30 p.m. delivered a 2.4/7 in 18-49, 7.4 million viewers overall and a 4.4/8 in households

Sunday from 8:30-9 p.m. ET, a half-hour rebroadcast of "Minute To Win It" delivered a 1.3/4 in 18-48 and 4.2 million viewers overall.

Sunday from 9-10 p.m., another encore telecast of "Minute To Win It" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall) increased from its first half-hour to its second by 25 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.5 from a 1.2) and by 18 percent in total viewers (4.6 million vs. 3.9 million).

Sunday from 10-11 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" averaged a 1.2/3 in 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers overall. "SVU" ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in its time period in men 18-34.
