Live+7 Ratings: ABC's "Modern Family" Emerges as the Week's #1 Scripted Show

Based on Nielsen's final ratings, ABC's "Modern Family" emerged as TV's #1 scripted show for the week in Adults 18-49, building from a 3.9 rating in the first-reported numbers to a 6.2 rating in the playback finals. Initially in the Live + Same Day statistics, "Modern Family" tied as TV's #2 scripted show for the week in the key young adult sales demo and moved up to #1 in the Live + 7 Day statistics, jumping over NBC's "Office" to lead by 11% (5.6) and CBS' "NCIS" to lead by 22% (5.1).
ABC had 4 shows gain more than 2.0 million viewers from their initially reported totals via time-shifted viewing, including the week's biggest overall gainer: "Modern Family" (+4.54 million), "Castle" (+2.61 million), "Body of Proof" (+2.44 million) and "Desperate Housewives" (+2.17 million).
