New York, June 28, 2011 - Continuing its phenomenal ratings success - HISTORY secured its best quarter ever, in all key demos, in 2nd Quarter 2011. Bolstered by the success of the network's investment in new and returning original programming - American Pickers, American Restoration, Ax Men, Ice Road Truckers, Mounted in Alaska, Pawn Stars, Swamp People and Top Shot as well as the premiere of the epic special, Gettysburg - HISTORY experienced double digit growth and averaged over 1 million Adults 25-54 with its numerous hit series.

HISTORY is the first non-fiction network (excluding sports) in cable history to ever average over 1 million Adults 25-54 for a quarter. And, competitively, the network ranked in the top 3 among all key demos (Adults 25-54, Adults 18-49, Men 25-54 and Men 18-49) for the first time ever.

2Q 2011 vs. 2Q 2010:

Adults 25-54: 1.0 million vs. 775,000, up +29%

Adults 18-49: 914,000 vs. 696,000, up +31%

Men 25-54: 657,000 vs. 518,000, up +27%

Men 18-49: 588,000 vs. 462,000, up +27%

Total Viewers: 2.0 million vs. 1.6 million, up +25%

For the quarter, HISTORY had the #1 series in cable on 3 nights of the week among Adults 25-54:

Monday - Pawn Stars: 3.3 million

Thursday - Swamp People: 2.1 million

Friday - American Restoration: 1.4 million

The network had an incredible 8 series average over 1 million Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49 and 5 series average over 1.5 million in 2nd Quarter:

Pawn Stars - 3.3 million Adults 25-54 / 3.1 million Adults 18-49

American Pickers -2.5 million Adults 25-54 / 2.2 million Adults 18-49
