CBS Has the Week's Top 13 Scripted Programs

CBS won its third consecutive week in viewers and placed first in adults 25-54 paced by time period-winning performances by all three editions of BIG BROTHER and the top 13 scripted series, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending July 24, week 44 of the 2010-2011 television year.

All three BIG BROTHER broadcasts (Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday) swept their time slots, improving or matching the prior week's deliveries. All three broadcasts also placed among the top five in both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.

NCIS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, FLASHPOINT, THE MENTALIST, THE BIG BANG THEORY, CRIMINAL MINDS, BLUE BLOODS, CRIMETIME SATURDAY "NCIS", CSI: NY, TWO AND A HALF MEN, MIKE AND MOLLY and HAWAII FIVE-0 were the week's top 13 scripted programs.

For the week in viewers: CBS (6.31m), NBC (5.02m), ABC (4.67m) and FOX (4.01m). Summer-to-date: CBS (6.27m), NBC (6.07m), ABC (5.82m) and FOX (4.44m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (1.9/05) and a solid second in adults 18-49 (1.4/04, -0.1 behind FOX).

For the week in households: CBS (4.1/07), NBC (3.1/06), ABC (2.9/05) and FOX (2.4/04). Summer-to-date: CBS (4.1/07), NBC (3.7/07), ABC (3.6/06) and FOX (2.7/05).

CBS Weekly Highlights:

BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was first in households (4.4/08), viewers (7.16m), adults 25-54 (3.2/10) and adults 18-49 (2.6/09); it was tied for first in adults 18-34 (2.1/08, with FOX). Compared to last week's season premiere, BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was even in households, adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.

BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was first in households (4.1/07), viewers (6.90m), adults 25-54 (3.1/08), adults 18-49 (2.6/08) and adults 18-34 (2.1/07) for the third consecutive week. Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was up +3% in households (from 4.0/07), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 2.9/08), +13% in adults 18-49 (from 2.3/07), +11% in adults 18-34 (from 1.9/07) and added +290,000 viewers (from 6.61m, +4%). BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was the night's #1 program in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was first in households (4.2/07), viewers (7.03m), adults 25-54 (3.0/08), adults 18-49 (2.5/08) and adults 18-34 (2.1/08) for the third consecutive week. Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was up +2% in households (from 4.1/07), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/06), +11% in adults 18-34 (from 1.9/07), even in adults 25-54 and added +110,000 viewers (from 6.92m, +2%).

SAME NAME (P) was first in households (3.2/05), viewers (5.36m) and adults 25-54 (2.0/05); it was second in adults 18-49 (1.5/04, -0.1 behind FOX).
