OXYGEN SCORES DOUBLE DIGIT INCREASES IN KEY DEMOS FOR THIRD "GLEE" MARATHON
"Glee" Up 88% Among Women 18-34
NEW YORK - January 18, 2012 - Oxygen's Saturday afternoon "Glee" marathon stack (January 14th from 11am - 11:30 pm ET) scored double digit increases across all key demos for the network, according to Nielsen. Compared to the prior four week time period average, the "Glee" marathon increased an impressive +88% among W18-34 and +52% among W18-49. The marathon peaked at 4pm in the key W18-34 demo up +265% above the time period average.
The "Glee" marathon on Oxygen included fan favorite episodes from all three seasons of "Glee" including "Theatricality," "Britney/Brittany" and "The Substitute" (featuring guest star Gwyneth Paltrow). Episodes featuring "The Glee Project" season one winner Damian McGinty and runner-up Lindsay Pearce also aired and Pearce and McGinty (paired with guest Cameron Mitchell) each hosted a special OxygenLive, Oxygen's dual screen viewing experience, which launched during their respective episodes.
