FOX RANKS NO. 1 FOR FIFTH STRAIGHT WEEK

AMERICAN IDOL Tops the Week, Outperforms Both "The Voice" Finale Telecasts

FOX ranked No. 1 among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens for the fifth consecutive week, thanks to the strong season finale of NEW GIRL, two nights of AMERICAN IDOL and NASCAR: LIVE FROM DARLINGTON. The network averaged a 2.3/7 in the core adult demo last week and continues to rank No. 1 for the season among Adults 18-49.

In addition, FOX's AMERICAN IDOL was the week's highest-rated program and beat both nights of NBC's "The Voice" finale. Key highlights from last week include:

· FOX had 4 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 1), AMERICAN IDOL-Thurs (No. 5), NEW GIRL (No. 17) and GLEE (No. 19).

On Tuesday, FOX ranked No. 2 for the night among Adults 18-34, No. 3 in Adults 18-49 and No. 1 among Teens.

At 8pm, GLEE posted a 2.7/8, up +8% from the previous week in Adults 18-49 and up +12% in Total Viewers (6.7 vs. 6.0 Mil.) GLEE won its hour among Adults 18-34, Women 18-49 and Teens and ranked No. 2 in Adults 18-49. GLEE was also the highest rated program of the night among Teens.

The season finale of NEW GIRL posted a 2.8/8, up +27% from the previous week in Adults 18-49, while it achieved its highest Total Viewers in nearly two months (5.6 Mil, since 3/13/12). NEW GIRL was the second-highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-34.

At 9:30pm an encore NEW GIRL posted a 1.5/4.

WEDNESDAY

8:00-10:01 AMERICAN IDOL: (Adults 18-49: 4.5/13, 16.5 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX won Wednesday night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, Teens, and all key demos. FOX beat its nearest competitor on the night (CBS) by +67% among Adults 18-49 and +53% among Total Viewers. FOX has now won 17 consecutive Wednesdays among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, and Teens.

The 'Top 4 Finalists Perform' telecast of AMERICAN IDOL delivered a 4.5/13. AMERICAN IDOL outperformed Monday's telecast of The Voice - its performance finale - for the ninth straight week among Adults 18-49 (+18%, 4.5 vs. 3.8) and for the 14th straight week in Total Viewers (+54%, 16.5 vs. 10.7 Mil).

AMERICAN IDOL was the No. 1 program of the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 25-54, and Teens (tie), outperforming the night's No. 2 program (Criminal Minds) by +42% among Total Viewers (16.5 vs. 11.6 Mil).

THURSDAY

8:00-9:00 AMERICAN IDOL: (Adults 18-49: 4.0/13, 15.6 Mil Total Viewers)

9:00-10:00 TOUCH: (Adults 18-49: 1.9/5, 6.8 Mil Total Viewers)

On Thursday, FOX won the night in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, and Teens, outperforming its nearest competitor by +3% among Adults 18-49 (3.0 vs. 2.9 for CBS) and +18% in Adults 18-34 (2.0 vs. 1.7 for ABC). FOX has now ranked No.1 for 17 consecutive Thursdays among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, and Teens, every week AMERICAN IDOL has been on Thursday this season.

AMERICAN IDOL (1 of 4 voted off) posted a 4.0/13 among Adults 18-49. AMERICAN IDOL was the No. 1 program of the night among Total Viewers and Teens. IDOL outperformed the night's No. 2 program, CBS' Big Bang Theory by +14% among Total Viewers (15.6 vs. 13.7 Mil).

The AMERICAN IDOL results show outperformed The Voice's finale performance show on Monday by +5% among Adults 18-49 (4.0 vs. 3.8) and +46% in Total Viewers (15.6 vs. 10.7 Mil) and outperformed The Voice's season finale results show on Tuesday by +31% in Total Viewers (15.6 vs. 11.9 Mil).

AMERICAN IDOL won the 8pm hour in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and Teens, beating its nearest competitor by +11% among Adults 18-49 (4.0 vs. 3.6 for Big Bang Theory / Rules Of Engagement on CBS) and +38% among Total Viewers (15.6 vs. 11.3 Mil for CBS).

At 7p an encore of THE SIMPSONS did 0.9/4 followed by an original CLEVELAND (1.3/5). CLEVELAND won its half hour in Adults 18-34 and Teens.

THE SIMPSONS at 8p posted 1.9/6 and BOB'S BURGERS at 8:30p did 1.8/5. THE SIMPSONS and BOB'S BURGERS won their half hours in Men 18-34.

At 9p FAMILY GUY did 2.4/6. FAMILY GUY was the highest rated program of the night in Men 18-49, Men 18-34 and Teens and won its 9p half hour in Adults 18-34 and Teens.
