Live + 7 Day Ratings for the week of 3/25/13 (Week #27):

Based on Live + 7 Day ratings for the week, ABC's Modern Family ran in a virtual tie with the Monday premiere of NBC's The Voice as TV's #1 broadcast program in Adults 18-49, with just 1-tenth of a rating point between the two shows (5.5 vs. 5.6). The ABC sitcom topped the Tuesday premiere of The Voice by 5-tenths of a rating point among Adults 18-49 in the L+7 statistics (5.5 vs. 5.0). In addition, Modern Family moved out of a tie with Fox's American Idol-Weds in the first reported Live + Same Day ratings to outdeliver the Fox program by 1.7 Adult 18-49 rating points in the final Live + 7 Day numbers (5.5 vs. 3.8). Modern Family also finished as TV's most-watched comedy of the week (13.8 million).

ABC's Grey's Anatomy emerged as the #1 broadcast drama of the week among Adults 18-49 in the L+7 numbers, leapfrogging over CBS' NCIS to lead by 5% (4.4 vs. 4.2).

Based on Nielsen's TV playback data for the week, ABC claimed 2 of the 3 biggest broadcast gainers via time-shifted viewing among Adults 18-49, with Modern Family gaining +2.3 rating points (#1) and Grey's Anatomy adding on +1.5 rating points (#3) to their L+SD numbers. Modern Family was also the week's biggest overall gainer in time-shifted viewing, picking up +4.67 million viewers.

The 8pm premiere of ABC's Happy Endings shot up by 67% (0.9 to 1.5) among Adults 18-49 over its first-reported Live + Same Day number, while the 8:30pm telecast catapulted 86% (0.7 to 1.3), topping the percentage increases of Fox's Touch (80%) and NBC's Grimm (79%).
