"GLEE" DELIVERS HIGHEST RATINGS IN FIVE WEEKS; UP +20% VERSUS LAST ORIGINAL

FOX Ranks No. 2 for the Week

FOX's week was highlighted by strong performances from AMERICAN IDOL, BONES, THE FOLLOWING, HELL'S KITCHEN, GLEE, NEW GIRL and THE MINDY PROJECT. AMERICAN IDOL was up on both Wednesday and Thursday nights and won its thirteenth consecutive Wednesday night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. On Tuesday, NEW GIRL grew +10% among Adults 18-49 and THE MINDY PROJECT grew versus their performance last Thursday. On Thursday, GLEE had its highest delivery in five weeks among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and was up + 20% from the previous week.

For the week, FOX had:

NEW GIRL (2.2/6) grew +10% from last Thursday's post-Idol special (2.0/6). In the 9p half hour, NEW GIRL ranked No. 1 among Adults 18-34 and placed second in Adults 18-49. NEW GIRL was the second-highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-34.

THE MINDY PROJECT (1.5/4) increased +15% from last Tuesday (1.3/3) and last Thursday in Adults 18-49 (1.3/4). THE MINDY PROJECT ranked No. 1 in its time period among Adults 18-34 (tie).

WEDNESDAY

8:00-10:00 AMERICAN IDOL: (A18 49: 3.2/9, 12.2 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX ranked No. 1 for the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens, Total Viewers and all key demos. This marks the thirteenth straight Wednesday FOX has ranked No. 1 in Adults 18-49.

AMERICAN IDOL (3.2/9) was the No. 1 program of the night among Teens and Total Viewers, ranking No. 2 in Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. AMERICAN IDOL improved +3% from the previous week in Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers.

FOX won Thursday night in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens, Total Viewers and all key men and women demos. FOX outperformed the No. 2 network of the night by +47% in Adults 18-49 (2.8/8 vs. 1.9/6 for CBS) and +57% in Adults 18-34 (2.2/7 vs. 1.4/5 for NBC).

Gaining for the second Thursday in a row, AMERICAN IDOL (3.2/10) rose +10% from the week prior (2.9/9). AMERICAN IDOL was the night's highest rated program among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and Total Viewers. This marks AMERICAN IDOL's highest rated Thursday telecast in four weeks among Adults 18-49 and seven weeks in Total Viewers.

GLEE (2.4/7) grew +20% from its most recent original in Adults 18-49 (vs. 2.0/5 on 3/21/13). This marks GLEE's highest delivery in five weeks among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. GLEE led its time period among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key female demos.
