FOX Ranks No. 1 for Week Among Adults 18-34 and Teens
FOX spins the numbers for the week of May 6-12.

NATIONAL NIELSEN RATINGS FOR THE WEEK OF MAY 6 - MAY 12, 2013

FOX RANKS NO. 1 FOR WEEK AMONG ADULTS 18-34 AND TEENS

FOX's week was propelled by strong performances from AMERICAN IDOL, NEW GIRL and GLEE leading the network to rank No. 1 for the week among Adults 18-34 and Teens. AMERICAN IDOL Wednesday led FOX to win its 17th straight Wednesday night, outperforming the night's No. 2 network by +21% in Adults 18-49 (2.9/8 vs. 2.4/7 for CBS), +31% in Adults 18-34 (2.1/7 vs. 1.6/5 for NBC) and +13% in Total Viewers (11.1 vs. 9.8 Mil for CBS). IDOL's Thursday results show showed gains of +12% from the previous week in Adults 18-49 (2.6/9) and +3% in Total Viewers (11.6 vs. 11.3 Mil).

On Tuesday, NEW GIRL grew +5% from the previous week in Adults 18-49 (2.0/6). Thursday's GLEE season finale delivered a 2.0/6, up +5% from the previous week in Adults 18-49 (1.9/5) and +13% in Total Viewers (5.9 vs. 5.2 Mil). GLEE led the 9p hour among Teens.

For the week, FOX had:

· 3 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 9 tie), AMERICAN IDOL- Thu (No. 9 tie) and FAMILY GUY (No. 17).

· 8 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-34: FAMILY GUY (No. 5), NEW GIRL (No. 8), THE SIMPSONS (No. 10 tie), AMERICAN DAD (No. 10 tie), AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 14), AMERICAN IDOL-Thu (No. 17 tie), GLEE (No. 17 tie) and BOB'S BURGERS (No. 19).

· 7 of the Top 20 programs among Teens: FAMILY GUY (No. 3), AMERICAN DAD (No. 6), AMERICAN IDOL-Thu (No. 9 tie), GLEE (No. 9 tie), THE SIMPSONS (No. 13), BOB'S BURGERS (No. 18 tie) and AMERICA IDOL-Wed (No. 18 tie).

In the following half hour, THE MINDY PROJECT delivered a 1.3/3 in Adults 18-49. THE MINDY PROJECT ranked No. 2 in its time period among Adults 18-34.

FOX won the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Total Viewers, Teens (tie) and key demos. This marks the 17th straight Wednesday night win for FOX, outperforming the night's No. 2 network by +21% in Adults 18-49 (2.9/8 vs. 2.4/7 for CBS), +31% in Adults 18-34 (2.1/7 vs. 1.6/5 for NBC) and +13% in Total Viewers (11.1 vs. 9.8 Mil for CBS).
