CBS Up +34% in Viewers, +20% in Adults 18-49 and +23% in Adults 25-54 Compared to the Same Week Last Year

"Under the Dome" is the Week's Top Program and CBS Has Six of the Top 10

Sunday's Edition of "Big Brother" Delivers Largest Audience of Summer

CBS was the number one network in viewers and key demographics in the first full week of the Time Warner Cable blackout, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Aug. 11.

(Editor's Note: Time Warner Cable has blacked out CBS stations to 3.2 million of its customers in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas).

Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +34% in viewers, +20% in adults 18-49 and +23% in adults 25-54.

UNDER THE DOME was the week's number broadcast in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 (tie). CBS had six of the week's top 10 broadcasts in viewers and five of the top 10 in adults 18-49.

Sunday's edition of BIG BROTHER delivered 7.14 million viewers, the largest audience of the summer on any night.

For the week in viewers: CBS (5.51m), NBC (4.18m), ABC (4.17m) and FOX (2.56m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in both adults 25-54 (1.6/05) and adults 18-49 (1.2/04).

CBS Weekly Highlights:

UNDER THE DOME was first in viewers (10.42m), adults 25-54 (3.4/08) and adults 18-49 (2.6/07). UNDER THE DOME was the night's #1 broadcast in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and tied as the #1 broadcast in adults 18-49.

UNFORGETTABLE (9:09-10:09PM) delivered 6.88m viewers, 1.7/04 in adults 25-54 and 1.1/03 in adults 18-49. UNFORGETTABLE was first in viewers and adults 25-54 and tied for first in adults 18-49 (with ABC) in the 9PM hour.

BIG BROTHER:

BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was first in viewers (6.43m), adults 25-54 (2.7/08), adults 18-49 (2.2/08). Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was up +5% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1/07), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 2.5/08) and added +180,000 viewers (from 6.25m, +3%).

BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was first in viewers (6.61m), adults 25-54 (2.8/08) and adults 18-49 (2.4/07). BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was the night's top program in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

BIG BROTHER SUNDAY (8:10-9:09PM) delivered 7.14m viewers, 2.8/08 in adults 25-54 and 2.4/08 in adults 18-49 - winning the 8PM hour in these measures. Compared to last Sunday, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was up +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.3/07), even in adults 25-54 and added +350,000 viewers (from 6.79m, +5%). This broadcast of BIG BROTHER 15 SUNDAY posted a summer's best viewers delivery for any night.
