THE PREMIERE OF "SURVIVOR" TOPS ALL WEDNESDAY BROADCASTS IN ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 25-54
Series' 400th Episode Is Up Over Spring Premiere in Viewers and Key Demos
"Survivor" Premiere and "Big Brother" Finale Lead CBS to Nightly Win in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54
The season premiere of SURVIVOR topped all Wednesday broadcasts in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, leading CBS to a nightly win in key demographics, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Sept. 18.
From 8:00-9:30 PM, SURVIVOR SPECIAL (S) was first in viewers (9.52m), adults 25-54 (3.5/10) and adults 18-49 (2.6/08). SURVIVOR SPECIAL (S) was the night's top program in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. Compared to the winter premiere (on Feb. 13), SURVIVOR was up +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.4/09), +8% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/07) and added +580,000 viewers (from 8.94m, +6%).
From 9:30-10:00 PM, the season finale of BIG BROTHER was a strong second in viewers (6.73m), adults 25-54 (2.9/07) and adults 18-49 (2.4/07).
For the night, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (3.2/08) and adults 18-49 (2.5/08) and was second in viewers (8.13m).
