CBS Places First in Viewers for 10th Time in 12 Weeks; "NCIS," "Big Bang Theory" Are Top Two Programs

CBS PLACES FIRST IN VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54 FOR THE WEEK

"NCIS" and "The Big Bang Theory" Are the Top Two Programs in Viewers, as CBS Has Five of the Top 10 and 11 of Top 20

CBS Has More Top 20 Shows in Adults 18-49 Than Any Other Network, Led by the #1 Entertainment Program "The Big Bang Theory"

CBS Wins Five Nights in Viewers

CBS was first in viewers for the 10th time in 12 weeks this season, and first in adults 25-54 (tie), led by NCIS and THE BIG BANG THEORY, the week's top two programs, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 15.

Overall, CBS had five of the top 10 programs and 11 of the top 20 (more than all the other networks combined). Among viewers, CBS was first on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Among adults 18-49, THE BIG BANG THEORY was the week's #1 entertainment program, THE MILLERS was the #1 new program and THE VICTORIA'S SECRET FASHION SHOW was the week's top special. NCIS, CRIMINAL MINDS and NCIS: LOS ANGELES were three of the week's top five dramas in adults 18-49.

THE VICTORIA SECRET FASHION SHOW - The Week's #1 Special in Adults 18-49

· THE VICTORIA'S SECRET FASHION SHOW (S) was first in viewers (9.72m), adults 18-49 (3.4/10), adults 18-34 (4.1/14) and tied for first in in adults 25-54 (2.9/07, with NBC). Compared to last year, it added +240,000 viewers (from 9.48m, +2%). THE VICTORIA'S SECRET FASHION SHOW was the night's #1 program in adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.

THE BIG BANG THEORY - The Week's #1 Entertainment Program in Adults 18-49

· THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in viewers (17.68m), adults 25-54 (6.7/19) and adults 18-49 (5.1/16). Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 6.2/16), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 4.8/14) and added +2.05m viewers (from 15.63m, +13%).

THE MILLERS - The Week's #1 New Program in Adults 18-49

· THE MILLERS was first in viewers (10.93m), adults 25-54 (4.6/09) and adults 18-49 (2.6/08). Compared to last week, THE MILLERS was up +6% in adults 25-54 (from 3.4/08), +8% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/07) and added +1.70m viewers (from 9.23m, +18%).

SURVIVOR FINALE - Up in Viewers From Spring Finale

· SURVIVOR FINALE (S) (8:00-10:08 PM) was second in households (5.8/09), viewers (10.19m), adults 25-54 (3.5/08) and posted a 2.6/07 in adults 18-49. Compared to the spring finale (on May 12), SURVIVOR FINALE added +30,000 (from 10.16m, +1%).
