"TONIGHT SHOW" TOPS "KIMMEL" AND "LATE SHOW" COMBINED FOR THE LATE-NIGHT RATINGS WEEK OF JULY 21-25 IN 18-49, HITTING A FIVE-WEEK HIGH

Seth Meyers Jumps +11% Week to Week, Outrates Letterman Despite Starting an Hour Later

NEW YORK - July 31, 2014 - "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has delivered a decisive win in late-night ratings for the week of July 21-25, topping the combined results of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman." Note that Kimmel and Letterman aired rebroadcasts on Friday.

Fallon's 1.11 rating in 18-49 for the week topped the combined 1.01 of "Kimmel" (0.60) and "Late Show" (0.41). Versus "Tonight's" results for the same week last year, Fallon was up +31% in adult 18-49 rating, to a 1.11 from a 0.85.

The 1.11 is Fallon's highest 18-49 rating in five weeks, since averaging a 1.13 for the week of June 16-20.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" outscored CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" (with a 0.51 rating vs. a 0.41) despite starting an hour later, and finished the week within 0.09 of a point of "Kimmel" (0.51 vs. 0.60).

Meyers grew versus the prior week by +11% in 18-49 rating (to a 0.51 from a 0.46).

In the 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET slot, Meyers outrated CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" by a +70% margin in 18-49 (0.51 vs. 0.30).
