'A.D. The Bible Continues,' 'American Odyssey' Maintain 100% of Last Week's 18-49 Ratings, 'American Odyssey' Currently Up +15% Week to Week in Total Viewers
'Dateline' Grows 83% From its First Half-Hour to its Fourth in 18-49
Sunday Primetime Results:
· "A.D. The Bible Continues" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) maintained 100% of last week's 18-49 rating despite a drop in lead-in of 0.3 of a point from 8:30-9 p.m. (1.1 this week, 1.4 last week). "A.D." grew week to week in women 18-34 (0.6 vs. 0.5). Last night's "A.D." is up +27% or 1.2 million persons in total viewers versus NBC's results in the time period on the same night last year (5.482 million vs. 4.329 million on May 4, 2014 for "Believe").
· L+7: "A.D. The Bible Continues" has grown by +21% in 18-49 (from a 2.00 rating to a 2.41) and 1.5 million viewers overall (8.7 million to 10.2 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· "American Odyssey" (0.5/2 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) equaled its 18-49 rating of the prior two weeks and is up week to week in total viewers, men 18-49 and adults, men and women 25-54. Last night's episode is currently up +15% versus the prior week in total viewers to a three-week high (best since April 12, 4.0 million), pending updates.
· L+7: "American Odyssey" is increasing by +20% in 18-49 rating (from a 0.98 to a 1.18) and more than 1.3 million viewers overall (4.7 million to 6.1 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· "Dateline NBC" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall from 7-9 p.m. ET) grew from its first half-hour to its fourth by +83% in adults 18-49 (0.6 to 1.1), +89% in adults 25-54 (0.9 to 1.7) and +63% or 2.5 million persons in total viewers (3.9 million to 6.4 million).
· For its second hour from 8-9 p.m., "Dateline" ranked #2 among the Big 4 nets in total viewers.
