"THE TONIGHT SHOW" ENCORES OUTPERFORM ABC, CBS TIMESLOT COMPETITION FOR WEEK OF JUNE 29-JULY 3

Fallon Triumphs in 18-49, Key Demos and Total Viewers While "Late Night" Also Delivers Winning Results

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - July 10, 2015 - Encores of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" outperformed the ABC and CBS timeslot competition in the 18-49 demo, most other key demos and total viewers for the week of June 29-July 3.

From 11:35 p.m.-12:35 a.m., "The Tonight Show" drew a 0.79 rating in the 18-49 demo and 2.77 million viewers, defeating ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" by 41% in the demo and 15% in total viewers. "Kimmel" earned a 0.56 and 2.41 million viewers over four nights of original episodes. Note: Neither the Friday "Tonight Show" nor Friday "Kimmel" are included in weekly averages due to being marked as a holiday special.

"The Tonight Show" also scored higher than CBS' "Summer Showcase," which scored a 0.50 and 2.44 million viewers.

From 12:35 -1:35 a.m., encores of "Late Night with Seth Meyers" drew a 0.41 in the 18-49 demo (up 3% from a year ago) with 1.28 million viewers, a 9% increase from a year ago. "Late Night" outperformed both encores of "Late Late Show with James Corden" (0.30 in 18-49 and 1.17 million viewers) as well as its 12:35-1 a.m. head-to-head competition with ABC's "Nightline" (0.47 vs. 0.36 in 18-49, and 1.46 million viewers vs. 1.40 million viewers).
