ABC's Bachelor in Paradise Special Premiere Boosts its 2-Hour Slot by 22% in AD18-49 - Ranks #1 in AD18-34 and Key Women

ABC Sunday Prime (7-11pm - 3.6 million and 0.9/3 in AD18-49): ABC ranked #1 on Sunday Adults 18-49 (0.9/3-tied w/CBS), taking the major network lead for the 4th straight week.

Bachelor in Paradise (8-10pm - 3.6 million and 1.1/4 in AD18-49): Spiking 43% over its lead-in against CBS' Big Brother at 8pm, the first night of the 2-night season premiere for ABC's Bachelor in Paradise took second in its 2-hour time period among Adults 18-49 (1.1/4), while ranking #1 in Adults 18-34 and across all key Women (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54). The ABC unscripted series was Sunday's #1 show with Women 18-34 (tie) and #2 in Adults 18-49. Building audience from its first hour to its second hour in Total Viewers (+9%) and Adults 18-49 (+10%), Bachelor in Paradise moved up to #1 from 9-10pm.

The new show grew for the 2nd week in a row with Women 18-34 (+14%) and Women 18-49 (+10%) to hit series highs and rank #1 in the hour.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 49% in U.S. TV Homes. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.
