"60 MINUTES" MAKES TOP 10 FOR THIRD TIME IN FOUR WEEKS
Makes Top 10 in Key Demos and is Sunday's # 1 Non-Sports Program
60 MINUTES finished among the Nielsen Top 10 for the third time in four weeks, drawing an audience of 14.3 million viewers to land at #6, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Nov. 29.
America's #1 news program also made Nielsen's Top 10 broadcasts in the key demos - also for the third time in four weeks. 60 MINUTES finished #9 in adults 25-54 (3.6/8) and tied for #9 in adults 18-49 (2.6/7). The CBS newsmagazine placed #5 in households, scoring an 8/7/13.
60 MINUTES was Sunday's most-watched primetime non-sports program.
Sunday's edition of 60 MINUTES featured Scott Pelley's interview with the American contractor held by Cuba for five years, Bill Whitaker's story about states scrambling to obtain alternate, untested drugs to carry out the death penalty, and Anderson Cooper reporting on how a daredevil flew, skied and jumped off an iconic Alpine peak.
