Thursday Primetime Results:
"Strong" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET):
· Maintains 100% of last week's regular slot-premiere rating in 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.8) and grows 0.1 of a point or +20% in women 18-34 (0.6 vs. 0.5).
· On a night of high-rated NBA Playoff competition on TNT, equals NBC's best 18-49 rating in the time period in 11 weeks (since Feb. 4).
"The Blacklist" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 6.8 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET):
· Maintains 100% of last week's 1.3 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings in 18-49 and 93% of last week's 1.4 in official nationals.
· In total viewers, generates its most-watched episode since Jan. 28 (7.164 million).
· Grows +4% in total viewers versus last week's 6.561 million in fast-affil figures and +2% versus last week's 6.737 million in official nationals.
· Ranks #2 in the time period among the Big 4 in total viewers, as well as men 18-49, men 25-54 and men 18-34 (tie).
· These numbers will increase dramatically with time-shifting and viewing on alternate platforms:
· L+7: "Blacklist" has grown by +98% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 1.48 to a 2.93) and 4.9 million viewers overall (6.9 million to 11.8 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· L+3: Last week's "Blacklist" increased by +68% in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 (1.36 to 2.29) and by more than 3.4 million persons in total viewers (6.7 million to 10.2 million).
· The April 14 telecast generated the biggest lifts of the night on the Big 4 in 18-49 percentage and total viewers.
· L+3+7 Days of Alternate-Platform Views: The prior week's episode grew by +79% (to a 2.4 rating) via time-shifting (3 days) and 7-day alternate-platform viewership (1.36 rating to a projected 2.42 rating in TAMi estimates
· Upscale: "Blacklist" is generating a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 147 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current" including L+3). The prior week's "Blacklist" was the #1 most upscale show of the night on the Big 4, indexing at a 112 in 18-49 viewers living in $100K+ homes.
"Game of Silence" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET):
· Finishes within 0.1 of a point of last week's regular-slot premiere in adults 18-49 (0.7 vs. 0.8).
· Maintains 100% of last week's regular-slot debut in adults 18-34 and women 18-34.
· Finishes within 0.3 of #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in the time period in adults 18-49 and within 0.1 in adults 18-34 versus the original competition of CBS's "Rush Hour" and ABC's "The Catch."
· Despite the 10 p.m. hour, maintains 100% of its 18-49 rating from half-hour to half-hour (0.7 vs. 0.7).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.0/5 with an encore telecast; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.1/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/3 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households with an encore) tied CBS's first-run "Late Late Show" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/2 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
