Cubs-Giants and Nationals-Dodgers Deliver Average Audience of 3,690,000 Viewers Over Nine Games for FS1

New York - The Los Angeles Dodgers' dramatic National League Division Series clinching victory over the Washington Nationals last night, solidified 2016 as the most-watched LDS in FS1 history, posting an average audience of 3,690,000 viewers over the series' combined nine games, according to fast national figures released by Nielsen Media Research.
Compared to last year's American League Division Series on FS1, in which both matchups went the full five games, this year's NLDS is up +32% (vs. 2,795,000 viewers) and up +18% through NLDS coverage in 2014 on FS1 (vs. 3,120,000).
Furthermore, FS1's MLB Postgame show immediately following the Chicago Cubs' series clinching victory was the most-watched postgame show on FS1 this season with 1,874,000 viewers.
Wednesday night's decisive matchup between the Nationals and the Dodgers posted 4,519,000 viewers for FS1 and when combined with FOX Deportes & FS GO viewers, Game 5 averaged 4,764,615 viewers. Last night's baseball game is now the 9th most-watched telecast in FS1 history.
Locally, Game 5 posted a 9.9 rating in Los Angeles and a 10.3 rating in Washington D.C., both ranking as best ever for FS1 in those respective markets.
FOX Deportes drew an average of 191,000 viewers for last night's game, and 105,000 viewers P18-49 which is the highest delivery in that demo for any Divisional Series game in Spanish Language Television history.
FS1 and FOX Deportes air NLCS Game 1 between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs live from Wrigley Field on Saturday night, with coverage beginning at 7:30 PM ET.
