Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC Tops Demos "Roseanne" Marathon

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/24/18):

ABC (5.250 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1) held onto the top demo spot on Tuesday thanks to its repeat marathon of "Roseanne" (6.333 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T4), another "Roseanne" (6.076 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T4), yet another "Roseanne" (6.444 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T1), even more "Roseanne" (6.323 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T1) and a special "Deception" (3.162 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8).

NBC (6.502 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then was a close second with its trio of "The Voice" (9.061 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T1), "Rise" (4.385 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8) and "Chicago Med" (6.063 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T6).

Next up was FOX (3.043 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) with originals from "Lethal Weapon" (4.252 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T6), "LA to Vegas" (2.065 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T12) and "New Girl" (1.604 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T12).

Meanwhile, CBS (6.271 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) opted for repeats of "NCIS" (6.730 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10), a second "NCIS" (6.966 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10) and "Bull" (5.117 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T12).

And finally, a new "The Flash" (1.916 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T12) and the return of "The 100" (1.389 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.4, #16) rounded out the night on The CW (1.652 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.1/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 17 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (4/25/17):

NBC (6.991 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) was the top draw on Tuesday with its mix of "The Voice" (9.428 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1), the premiere of "Great News" (5.218 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3), a second "Great News" (4.257 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4) and "Chicago Fire" (6.808 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2).

FOX (2.408 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #2) then took home the silver with its trio of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.903 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T13), "The Mick" (2.209 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7) and "Prison Break" (2.762 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.9, #6).

Next up was CBS (6.382 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3) with repeats of "NCIS" (7.199 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T13) and "Bull" (6.637 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7) followed by the launch of "48 Hours: NCIS" (5.309 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T13).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.836 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3) opted for second runs of "The Middle" (3.942 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7), "American Housewife" (3.098 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7) and "Fresh Off the Boat" (2.784 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7) alongside new episodes of "Imaginary Mary" (2.883 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7) and "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (2.156 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.6, #16).

And finally, the return of "The Flash" (2.645 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4) and a new "iZombie" (1.057 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 0.4, #17) on The CW (1.851 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3) rounded out the night.
