Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Remains on Top in Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (10/22/18):

NBC (8.583 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) was still the top draw on Monday thanks to fresh installments from "The Voice" (9.208 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) and "Manifest" (7.335 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2).

FOX (5.216 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then took home the silver with originals from "The Resident" (4.808 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #6) and "9-1-1" (5.624 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3).

Next up was ABC (6.521 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) with a new "Dancing with the Stars" (7.587 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4) alongside a rebroadcast of "The Rookie" (4.390 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #10).

Meanwhile, CBS (5.936 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) offered up new episodes of "The Neighborhood" (6.410 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4), "Happy Together" (4.741 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7), "Magnum P.I." (5.558 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7) and "Bull" (6.674 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7).

And finally, The CW (1.091 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the evening with a new "Arrow" (1.177 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #11) and the return of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" (1.005 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #12).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.4/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.1/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.1/1.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.1/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (10/23/17):

NBC (8.394 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) was the demo champ on Monday with fresh installments from "The Voice" (9.944 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.1, #2) and "The Brave" (5.293 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7).

Second place then went to ABC (9.774 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) with new episodes of "Dancing with the Stars" (9.329 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #5) and freshman hit "The Good Doctor" (10.664 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #3).

Next up was CBS (6.874 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3) and the Thursday-bound "The Big Bang Theory" (12.798 million viewers, #1; adults , 18-49: 2.7, #1) followed by "9JKL" (7.320 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.4, #4), "Kevin Can Wait" (6.278 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #6), "Me, Myself & I" (4.670 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #9) and "Scorpion" (5.090 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T10).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.241 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) served up originals from "Lucifer" (3.205 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T10) and "The Gifted" (3.278 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7).

And finally, "Supergirl" (1.767 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #12) and "Valor" (0.939 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) rounded out the night over on The CW (1.353 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5).
