Monday's Broadcast Ratings: "The Bachelor" Finale Puts ABC in Front

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (3/11/19):

ABC (7.923 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) was the adults 18-49 champ on Monday thanks to the season finales of "The Bachelor" (8.000 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.2, #1) and "The Good Doctor" (7.767 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3).

NBC (8.660 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2) then had to settle for second with originals from "The Voice" (10.402 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.0, #2) and "The Enemy Within" (5.175 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4).

Next up was CBS (5.422 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3) with new episodes of "The Neighborhood" (6.492 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4), "Man with a Plan" (5.292 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T7) and "Magnum P.I." (5.902 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T7) plus a repeat "Bull" (4.472 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #10).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.123 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3) offered up the penultimate "The Passage" (3.124 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #6) and the season finale of "The Passage" (3.122 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T7).

And finally, The CW (0.913 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the night with fresh installments of "Arrow" (1.075 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #11) and "Black Lightning" (0.750 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #12).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.1/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.1/1 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (3/12/18):

NBC (9.395 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) held off the competition on Monday with new episodes of "The Voice" (11.721 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.3, #1) and "Good Girls" (4.744 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4).

ABC (8.834 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2) then was a close second with night two of "American Idol" (8.359 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T2) and "The Good Doctor" (9.785 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T2).
